In many markets you CANT see with your own eyes the phone before buying it. Is for sale online, or to phisical shops (but online only). Even ROG 3 was same thing, not know how it is in my hands, or i not buy it.... was heavy 240 gr + cooler. Not possible to activate wifi and hotspot same time... as many devices when travel around in no signal area, ask same wifi to work together, but if i activate wifi (for remote internet), cant give hotspot to devices to run it from my phone. It get heavy even from few photos, or listetn music for few minutes. Lot of headick. Last week i ordered an indian phone (made in china ofcorse) and i have lot of trouble. It took 3 days over 2 continents and 5 stops. But is at 100 km from my home for over a week, because custom, even all papers of import done, they not move it. So waiting and waiting, and my birthday passed away and still my phone is ”arrested”. Thats why 90% buy iPhone and Samsung. Xiaomi and Honor 9%, because can touch it and buy it same day. A World where ”original” is banned... at least in Europa and USA politicians force us to be all same, have same phones, phones that not offer everything, some have good front camera, some back camera, some core chip, some sound, some screen, some back LED lights and so on. Stupid World leaders. Take care to whom you give your vote! They should SWARE to give you right to freedom, electronic freedom too and put preasure to phone companies to build full power device mini, maxi and foldable! In this momment you cant chose a single device that have all!

Why is Asus even making phone? 2 years support for over $1000 phone? this is a joke. we are no more in 2014. If they can't hire labourers to work on their software, then they need to quite the market

I bet they won't keep up with mobile market if they don't improve their Software update policy. Why charging over 1000 EUR and offers -100 EUR software support.

IMO this is a pro phone, not an ultra. Some phone companies use that word losslessly. If you want to know what I mean, compare this phone with the Xiaomi 15... Not the pro, not the ultra, just Xiaomi 15 and you will see what I mean.
Then compare it with the 15 Ultra and see the embarrassment

Why is Asus so underrated in the phone market? This Zenfone 12 Ultra is perfect! It has the Snapdragon 8 Elite, 144hz, 12/16GB RAM, 5500 mAh, 512GB. Everything you could ask for from a high-end phone!

It's not a slouch when it comes to cameras. Main camera sensor is same as the one on the Galaxy S25 or iPhone 16 for that matter. Telephoto and Uktrawide too are similar with the S25 series, except the Ultra.

I still have the Max Pro M2 up to this day, still good as ever. Though i only had like 1 major update and 1 year security update. The build quality of ASUS is the best imo, similar to Nokia back then, and also it is pure stock android but idk about this very phone. I hope they change their camera island, should be unique but not ugly as this. And please bring back MID range asus phones.

Amazing!
I would still not buy it though due to my AMOLED sensitivity.
