Think this was the era when phablets were trending.
Below average camera IIRC.
Problems with bands in the US.
Maybe the screen felt funny? A bit soft?
Overall cool phone. It'd be cool to get a flagship this size. Giant in comparison to an s24u

Think there were some sketchy companies like Blu popular around the time too.
Bezelless phablets with 2025 cameras and 2 day battery life would be pretty cool.

Happydog1, 25 Feb 2022I currently own this phone, love it, and still use it today... moreI happened to come into possession of an Alcatel 3V which has very similar specs. The screen is only 6.7" but it's lighter and faster. I once had a new Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra briefly but returned it because it was the wrong color. I kinda wish I had kept it.

I currently own this phone, love it, and still use it today. It's 2022 and it's still an excellent phone for me. The size of the phone display is huge and exactly what I love. I can't find a phone close to this size on the market today. I have it highly optimized - fully rooted with Magisk, TWRP, fully debloated, Android 7.1, bootloader locked, and it passes Safety Net checks. It's a head turner to be sure. It takes photos that are amazingly sharp and bright. It has all of the features that I love in a phone including a 3.5 mm headphone jack, dual sim slots (use 256GB micro sim card in 1 slot), front fingerprint reader, and more. I have a replacement screen should I need it later. I will run my phone happily into the future.
