If it is only related to home, you can temporarily install any 3rd party launcher like Nove or any other of your choice, switch home and see if you are able to start the phone. Then take backup of your data and do factory reset. Since it looks like some system files are corrupted, it is better to do factory reset to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.

Have been using this phone for almost 3 weeks. Everything has been excellent, love this phone.
Really hard to find screen protector due to 2.5d screen, I already notice a small hairline scratch on my screen.
Anyways, will this phone get Nougat update?

Factory setting is only the 2nd option coz all my data has not been backed up. But if no other way, i guess, i have to do it.

Recent upgrade done but UI unfortunately stopped. Reset and restarted several times already but still won't disappear. Please help

phenomenal, 17 Dec 2016i have the same question between zen3 and mi5In gsmarena anyone can comment anything...If you want to check original trusted review of real users...please go and check in www.amazon.com. In Amazon, only real users who buys sets from Amazon can only comment about related stuffs...I found 4.6 out of 5 (81%)... But, ther6no user opinion or comment about mi5...

Camera quality front : good.
Camera drawback : can't capture raw image, no front camera flash.
Speed : no lagging, using 2 months.
No hang, multitasking very much excellent.
Battery : I get 1.5-2.5 days backup.
Design : fantastic.
Sound : dts hi res 24bit/192kHz. Music excellent with earphones (zenear).
Display =super ips very bright. Even you can read under sunlight....

Hello all, I like this mobile very much, but before purchase I want to clear some doubts
1. How's the camera quality of this device?
2. How's the battery backup?
3. How's it processing speed (I mean not hang issue)
4. This is support OTG
5. Last what is the main disadvantage of Non Removable battery phones??

Ahhhh, hybrid SIM slot. Why do the manufacturers actually go for that?
To me it looks like they're forcing people who use two SIMs to opt for a higher inbuilt memory devices.
I also miss Intel processors.
