ZF3 has pixelmaster 3.0 technology. Is this version of pixelmaster only available in ZF3 series? And after clicking low light mode, ZF3 clicks stunning pics in 4 megapixels. Previous zenfones like Zenfone 2 Laser clicked the same at 3megapixels, right?

I ain't a gamer, j7 prime looks promising to me as per my needs. Though samsung can optimise gaming with an update... But i don't play games so will pick that... Any last min suggestions???
Problem is that exynos 7870 @1.6ghz can't push 1080p with its gpu, they should have clocked it @2ghz like sd625 in zf3. Asus killed great phone with its killer price

I was considering to buy zf3 because of the nice experience I had with it's first gen ( zf5, great value for what it was at the time) only to find out that asus has opted for this "hybrid sim " nonsense also . apparently , here , you can only praise this phone, else, you'd be trolled and then your rep will be deleted .

We don't need your exaggerated explanation. It's so obvious that zf3 is better thn j7 prime.
You can check in youtube how crappy the j7 prime is while zf3 works fine to almost all of the available intensive games today.
We want actual visible results here, not those written on paper

Hey bro, are you out of... moreIf 'better' that u talk about here is about 'performance', means u talk about CPU raw power, then Exynos 7870 Octa is BETTER, since Qualcomm sucks at optimizing Cortex A53 (just see the geekbench CPU score of SD615, 616, 617, then compare it to MT6752, last year mid-range SoC champ, u'll see how sucks Cortex A53 in Qualcomm hands).
If what u want is Asus ZF3 series, go for ZF3 Ultra which uses SD652, the 'champ' SoC in upper mid-range.
FYI, both Samsung and MediaTek are great at maximizing Cortex A53, BUT for mid-range Android phone, u'll ONLY get CRAP GPU from Exynos SoC, even weaker than what MediaTek offers (MT6752 have Mali T760, last year most powerful GPU from ARM, also the same GPU used in Samsung Galaxy S6; Helio X10 uses PowerVR G6200 Rogue, a little weaker version than the GPU used in iphone 5s & Asus ZF2; Helio X20 have Mali T880, this year powerfull GPU from ARM, also the same GPU used in Samsung Galaxy S7).
SO, if what u want to buy is a SAMSUNG Android phone, buy the one which use Exynos SoC, which means go for 1-2 YEARS AGO Android phone, such as Note 4, S6 series, or Note 5. ALL those "old" phones actually still available in "new", even u might get better deal since now.
Don't go for the NEW Samsung AT ALL, cuz ALL new Samsung phone from low-end to upper middle-end uses CRAP SoC, such as SD410, even more-than-sucks Spreadtrum SoC (why I said more than sucks? That company ONLY build low-performance SoC & give low-performance GPU, such as Mali-400, up till now). From 2011 up till now, Samsung ONLY uses POWERFUL SoC & GPU for their S series & Note series, excluded the 'mini' ones.
Now, if u want non-Samsung Android phone, go for brand which uses MediaTek SoC if u want what Samsung offers for their OVERPRICED Android phones, both high performance SoC & POWERFUL GPU. Several brand with uses MediaTek are Lenovo, Sony, Meizu, Xiaomi, Alcatel, etc.
If u think Mediatek is 'sucks' which is truly FALSE at this point, then go for Qualcomm, BUT choose the phone with SD650 or SD652 if u want the NEW ones, OR choose SD800, 801, or 805 if u want 'powerful' SoC at 'reasonable' price, as most of the Android phones using this SoC are released 2 years ago.
If u don't know what phones are using MT6572, Helio X10, X20, SD650/652, or older Exynos, consult wikipedia. I get ALL the info about Android phones ONLINE only from 3 sites; GSMArena, wikipedia, and Kimovil.
This is the 'performance' comparison between NEW midrange SoC from what I knew:
Helio X25 > Helio X20 > SD652 > SD650 > SD625 > Helio X10 > MT6752
Helio X25 better than X20 because of higher Cortex A72 CPU clock,
Helio X25/X20 better than SD652 because of the 10-core, the 20nm fabrication, and MORE POWERFUL GPU.
SD652 better than SD650 ONLY in CPU raw power, the GPU still the same.
SD 652/650 better than SD625 because it uses Cortex A72, the most powerful CPU from ARM (at this time), while SD625 have better fabrication and higher clocked CPU, but weaker GPU.
SD625 a LITTLE better than Helio X10 albeit clocked the same (2.0GHz) because it have better fabrication (SD625 14nm vs. Helio X10 28nm), and newer GPU, albeit both are weak.
Helio X10 is better than MT6752 because of the higher clocked CPU, albeit weaker GPU.

Please check ZF3 vs. Samsung's new C7/C5 in youtube by Philippines Manilashaker. ZF3 is better than Galaxy C7, than how is J7 Prime better than ZF3? But I agree it is over the top costly.
