You can feel it if it is SD617 vs. SD652. Can SD625 can play upcoming heavy games in highest settings smoothly which will be released in next 4-5 years? If yes, I am good with it. You can check SD652 vs. SD625 in Qualcomm official website. I assure you it is not one sided.

But about the Antutu, its variable and 650 knocks 79000 on Antutu. I would get 652 to knock better score. And the 650 has no heat issues even while you play the heaviest games of today at full graphics, a little heat is felt. On the battery part, yes SD625 will be a good chipset. But remember Xiaomi is using this chipset in low ranged phones like upcoming Redmi 4, so dont expect it to be at par with SD650/652 of Redmi Note 3/ Mi mAx in performance. Sd 650/652 has adreno 510 GPU, better than 506 on 625 and 625 does not support full netcom 3.0 either.
SD652 scores 82702 for OPPO r9 plus.
SD 625 is a great chip placed between the 652 and 617.

Really excited for the launch of the zenfone 3 series in India tomorrow... Had a hell of a time waiting for it. Hope asus makes a good marketing strategy for the pricing of the phones. Gonna watch the livestream tomorrow!!!

As antutu benchmark of 625 is close to 62,000 & that of 652 is slightly above 71,000. So no big difference. Though the performance of 652 comes with heavy battery drainage and heat!! Good luck with that....

but in the pictures if you see the top only has 3.5 mm audio port and a mic.
No signs of an IR port.

ZF3 (ZE552KL) beat hands down Xiomi redmi 3, Moto G4 Plus, latest Samsung galaxy C5 and even One Plus 3!! 14nm SD625 is awesome....it can easily play high intensity games of 4-5 years later. So 625 vs. 652 does not make sense, as 652 heats up quite fast beaing 28nm. Only concern is price....
