Recd. Through flipkart yesterday against the order dt. 5.9.14 . Thanks to flipkart for nice service. Overall it is a nice phone .only disappointing is the front camera which takes fent images. My previous phone s duos framing better although it was a VGA .screen is not so brighter as other brands like Sony Samsung or nokia . 2g data sim of relience is not working. Only wifi works for downloadIng . Voice of speakers is good...headphone not used by me till now . 7 marks o/o 10 overall . Bonus for low price of the phone.

I ordered Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG (Red) on 5th Sep '14 and received it today (9th Sep '14). That means in 2 working days (Monday was holiday in Kerala).
First look is superb.... I did successfully update with new firmware.
I will post my suggestions by coming days.

I have made the pre-order by sep-2 and they said the product will be released in the first week of September but still there is no response from them? any idea when will be the product get released?

or it lacks ra... moreenough free ram....free ram doesnt go below 300mb so phone doesn't slow down unlike the redmi 1s.
it also has memory boost shortcut in quick settings.
I have disabled apps that i didn't require...and phone runs smooth.
once it gets root(all other zenfone models have working root) it will be possible to make this device even faster than what it always is.
ZEN UI is proper mix of functionality and speed just like LG G3.
redmi 1s has MIUI which still has bugs(would be fixed though) and is a little heavy on phones with 1gb ram.
2gb minimum required for MIUI to work smoothly with a lot of apps installed

Zenfone 4 unit is good, if you are ardent user of directional compass than better do not buy, The required orientation sensor is missing, and in the process downloaded thermometer also doesn't work. Complaint lodged but no satisfactory reply.

This phone doesn't have any RAM shortage problems.You get about 500mb RAM free almost always.Therefore the phone doesn't lag also..
Secondly battery life is not that bad also.With Smart Saving options and reduced screen brightness you can push for almost 2 days once charged.
Camera is really awesome!!It's 8 MP.Great!!

well zenUI doesn't consume much RAM unlike MIUI hence der is big differene b/W thi to device
asus = 500-550mb ram ll b free
redmi1s= 350-400mb free
n one more u can't charge ur redmi 1s via lappy or pc as well as u can't store ur app in ur external SD CARD so i think u should give more priority to zenfone thn redmi 1s ..

how to activate 3g only in this phone some says to press *#*#4636#*#* to view phone
information but it doesn't work since the code doesn't shows the phone information option please help

features are good but not upto the mark some problem are there like low contrast display when compare to motoe,low battery backup ,dont purchase its not good for those who thinkk of minimum 4hours charging of mimum usage
