      what i like about asus' is they are able to fight in the market with products from xiaomi to samsung in a competitive way regarding specs and price, thank you for bringing back quality aspect of consumerism.

          I both ASUS ZENFONE 5 on 8 AUG 2014, the problem is the sim card slot i Micro, micro sim is to expensive, is there any other way to use my old sim rather that to buy a micro sim?, please reply as soon as possible, if there is no reply within 1 week i will sell this to OLX and buy a new 1 for my wife.

            You do not kitkat to do the app transfer from internal storage to SD card....

            The factory out zenfones has 4.3 and with that you can do it easily.. Follow me here on that task:

            1. Settings > Apps
            2. Tap on Moveables. You get a list of apps that can handle that.
            3. Tap on the app and and you get the app info page.
            4. Tap on "Move to device Storage" or to SD cards.

            Voila ... done.

            - no infrared or factory out OTG is available...

              Phone is really good bt i accdently broke my sim card slot tray and now its on single sim the problem is that this sim card slot tray is not available anywhere and asus servise center too

                Hi guys,
                1.If you are going to purchase asus zenfone 5,then only one issue which you face with this phone is battery backup.but it is sufficient for the day and you can continuously play Hd video for 6 hour and that's really great.
                2.OS customization is really great and it is upgradable to kitkat.
                3.Hardware performance is really out standing.
                4.Play Fully Hd videos and also click Hd snaps.
                5. Camara quality is excellent as compare to other phone which are expensive then asus.
                6.just go this this phone if you are crazy about gaming.capable to play games like real racing3,modern combat 5,asphalt 8...without any lag.
                7.sound is too gud...and also have unwanted noise cancellation mic.
                8.Headfone built quality is too good and have surround and 3d sound.

                        I am using this phone from last few weeks. I just love it. Anyone planning to buy this one, dont think anymore.. just buy it but please do remember you are spending only 10k here in India.

                        GUI and Software: splendid work on GUI. ZenUi is the best skin I knew and used over Android OS. I just love the way the fonts and colors are used on this phone giving it a premium look. Installed apps are just fine. Waiting for the KITKAT update.

                        Hardware: nothing to say, the phone says it all. Superb performance ... superb speed, superb touch and display.

                        Camera performance is just fabulous.

                        I am still evaluating all centimeter of it. I just can not say in words how I love this device being mine. I bought one more after sometime.

                        Headphone wire length is less but good quality. I am loving it.

                        Few things though can be worked upon by Asus. Display brightness. It is really low but ways available to increase and control it.

                        Battery back up is a note for all. Do not expect much if you are a power user. keep a back up if roaming.

                        Builtin speaker is not that good and loud but I think these speakers are not made for others listening the device from far.

                        The Asus flip cover is a bit concern looking at the price tag. It is heavily priced. Better you all go for a 3rd party on this.

                        Asus after sales service is also okay. The email support is fine. I am very surprised the way Asus is regularly seeding a system update.

                        Overall, I am loving it. I am loving it.

                          If your device glass is broken can cost you half the price of device for repair... Alert before you purchase the device zenfone 5.

                                dear all,
                                as on today 11th Aug 2014, the Asus zenfone 5 mode A500KL is not available in North India, as I have enquired from ASUS DEALER in delhi,chandigarh, Karnal and Noida. MAY BE NON OF ASUS DEALER AWARE ABOUT THIS MODEL : Zenfone5 A500KL: 1.2Ghz quadcore snapdragon 400
