Then download Battery Doctor and go to its settings and find the Automatic startups and disable every autostart apps. They won't auto-launch the next time. (You could use other apps to disable autostarts if you want, but I find this one the most convenient.) Also enable "auto kill apps when screen is off" to ensure there's no background processes if you leave your phone for a while. Remember to remove annoying persistent apps from whitelist, too, or they will not be killed.
Another useful app is Greenify. You can use this without root but it works better with root. It puts apps to hibernation (kind of like how iOS freezes apps so it won't consume battery) but there's some downside if you want to receive notifications from social apps like facebook, you won't see those until you open the app again because it's hibernated with this app. Could possibly work with root, though.
If you use Battery Doctor and Greenify together, don't forget to add Greenify to Battery Doctor's whitelist and not to add Battery Doctor to Greenify's auto hibernation list. They will co-operate peacefully and your phone will be a happy device to a happy user.

(P/s: If you want to get rid of any system apps that you never use, simply root then download System App remover (ROOT) and use it to remove those. Deleting an app entirely is the most effective way to ensure there's no background process or autostart of it whatsoever.)

Using this phone for last 3 months.... No problem everything is okay faster problem is only heating and battery drains otherwise best phone

hello guys. I just want to ask what is the most effective apps to stop the apps from keep running? even after i boost the phone, the apps such as message, gmail, dmclient, contact, calendar, chrome, whats next etc. they will appear again few seconds after boosting eventho I did not open any of those.

I am facing some problem in my asus zenfone 5. Sound output in my asus zenfone 5 is getting very low i dont find the why it happens. One month ago sound output was ok in asus but later I found that it is very low even i cant hear the phone ring in normal condition. Plz anyone help me.thanks in advance
