AnonD-577793, 29 Aug 2016Does anyone have it right now? I was wondering if it is goo... moreYes I have it for two weeks now, very happy with performance, beautiful design, surprisingly good screen. Only 1.3gHz but plenty quick enough for me, no hanging or freezing. Best option is the 32/3gb version, the 16GB version is crippled with 8gb of factory systems usage.

zen_fone1, 20 Nov 2016Hey guys serious question here, how much free storage space... moreI have 32gb version and 'factory operating systems etc take up around 8gb! So if you have a 16 gb version, you only have around 8 gb to play with and as you cannot move apps to the sd card, you need to be judicious which apps you download. You can move photograps and data to sd card but not apps. Recommend spending a little more and get the 32gb version and you also get 3gb of ram instead of only 2 with the 16gb version.

Hey guys serious question here, how much free storage space left on 16GB version? I know it could be less (actually always like that) but I need to make sure first, as I'm gonna need more than 10GB to store my files

I bought the Pegasus 3 X008 via AliExpress.. Ive had the Intel Zenfone 5 and the Snapdragon Zenfone 2, I was a little anxious about the Pegasus with the MTK processor as I had a disaster with the Sony Xperia M5 with MTK processor, but at AU$189 I thought if it was rubbish then it was not too much to lose. I read all the reviews and was only put off by the 720 display. However when I got the phone, not only was the metal body and quality of design so much better than the older plastic Zenfones I was happily pleased to find that the display was very, very good, in fact better than the display of my LG G3 as far as richness of colours and brightness. The MTK processor runs fast and smoothly for nerly all my needs, but I am not a 'gamer'. One serious disappointment was that after buying and putting in a 32GB sd memory card into the 2nd sim card location I was really 'pissed' to find that this Pegasus does not permit the moving of apps to the SD card, only photos, music/data. As a big user of apps I find this lack of facility a big mistake by Asus, The only redeeming factor is that I purchased the 32GB internal memory version. Had I bought the 16GB I would really, really have been more disappointed. The sound is rather 'tinny' but with good volume.... the FM radio was a welcome surprise and through earphones the music is great, but through the speaker... rather 'Ho-Hum' and as I said, the tone is 'thin' and tinny, far worse than the original Zenfone 5 of a couple of years ago, but of course its only AU$189 + shipping, as there is no outlet to buy Zenfones in Australia, despite there being a national service network for Asus computers/tablets.... go figure??
The 5.2" size screen is just right, the overall size is good and slips into my shirt pocket easily without threatening to fall out and proceed to immediate death on the road below! All in all, a good practical phone, at a very good price (shop around). a very recent release (June 2016) , well made and very attractive. So far I am impressed with this mid range handset,
