AT&T Priv starts getting Marshmallow update
AT&T has started rolling out a new update to BlackBerry Priv units on its network. Weighing in at over 1,400MB, the update brings Android Marshmallow (version 6.0.1) as well as some other changes.
Aside from the usual Marshmallow goodies, the update also includes changes related to privacy and security as well as notification settings. In addition, the BlackBerry keyboard has been enhanced, and there are improvements related to battery life, storage, camera, and notifications.
With the update, the AT&T Priv supports Android security patch level up to June, 2016. Given the update has just started rolling out, it might take time before it hits your device. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for it by heading to your handset's Settings menu.
