AT&T unveils 1GHz Snapdragon-powered LG GW820 eXpo
AT&T have just announced the LG GW820 eXpo (formerly known as Monaco) - a Windows Mobile 6.5-running smartphone, powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU. The full QWERTY side-slider should appeal to businessmen who always need to keep in touch.
The highlight features of the LG GW820 eXpo include a 3.2" WVGA touchscreen display, 5 megapixel camera and a full QWERTY keyboard. The eXpo also packs aGPS and 3G with HSDPA of up to 7.2 Mbps. A microSD card slot takes care of expanding the built-in memory by up to 16GB.
The "Smart Sensor" fingerprint recognition of LG GW820 eXpo, courtesy of AuthenTec, eliminates the need for password-protecting your device.
Interestingly enough, the LG LG GW820 eXpo is the first hybrid device that features a pico projector as an optional physical add-on. The LG mobile projector snaps onto the back of the device and allows users to share presentations, slideshows and videos. Weighing 51 grams (1.8 ounces), the LG mobile projector has a projection distance of up to 2.40 meters (8 feet). You can check out our impressions from the first handset to feature a built-in pico projector - Samsung i7410.
