B&O BeoVision 14 is a 4K LED TV running Android TV

B&O has launched a new television - the BeoVision 14 - the company's second 4K model since the Avant.

The BeoVision 14 builds on the square design of the BeoVision 11. The space below the screen is used for the speaker system, covered by a variety of color options for the fabric speaker grille. One unique to the BeoVision 14 is oak wood, that uses multiple strips of wood to cover the speaker grille. Surrounding the television is an aluminum frame.

The television has three mounting positions. You can either keep it on the motorized stand, or on the floor with the easel stand, or mount it on the wall.

The speaker system includes two channel, three way arrangement. You can choose one of the sound presets, such as Film Mode for movies or Night Listening Mode for late night viewing.

Most interesting aspect of the BeoVision 14, however, is that it runs Android TV, which means you get app support as well as Google Cast for sending media from your smartphone or tablet. You can also pair wireless speakers with the television.

The BeoVision has a 4K panel and comes in 40-inch and 55-inch variations. However, it does not support HDR, which is inexcusable for a 4K television in 2016, especially one that costs as much as this one does.

Speaking of cost, the BeoVision is priced at $6700 for the 40-inch model, and $9300 for the 55-inch model. It's obviously not for everyone, but then again, B&O products rarely are.

I have to say this led tv is amazing and it has the latest technology also.

Perfect! Or one can opt to a decent VR for a better movie watching experience. Again, through their phone.

Ever heard of a watch having a full fledged OS having no dependency on the phone? Educate yourself before you comment ;)
