Beats Studio Buds + announced with improved ANC and longer battery life
As expected, Apple introduced its latest Beats Studio Buds + today with improved Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), longer-lasting battery life and a cool new transparent version. The new Beats earbuds feature a custom "Beats Proprietary Platform” chip which supports one-touch pairing with Apple devices, Hey Siri and Apple Find My support as well as device switching via iCloud.
The new bit here is that the buds are also compatible with Google Fast Pair, Google Find My Device tracking as well as audio switching between a wider range of devices and operating systems. Apple claims the ANC and voice pickup during calls on the Studio Bud + are much-improved thanks to the 3x larger microphones. You also gain support for spatial audio for Dolby Atmos. The buds are IPX4 splashproof.
Studio Buds + are rated at up to 9 hours of playback and Apple claims up to 36 hours of total battery life with the USB-C charging case. A quick 5-minute charge will give you an hour of listening.
Beats Studio Buds + come in Transparent, Black and Ivory colors. Pricing is set at $170/£180/€200 and you can order your pair from Apple and partnering retailers starting today.

I hope the case is not as flakey as the last set. Sold it after the rattle was getting annoying

Wondering if these earbuds would be updated through a thrid-party app or they need to be near a Mac computer like the airpods.

"Nothing" began to become an inspiration for other brands' designs. that by itself is a success story for a start-up company like "Nothing". coming to Beats... it never had a competitive sound quality for the price range...
