i have purchase benq M100 two months before it allows to download monophonic ring tones only but i can't download polyphonic ringtones and wallpapers please tell me the solutions for my mobile

    I have bought BenQ S620i and am unable to download ring tones and screen savers and internet also is not available. Why? Plese help me in this regard.

      Hi, the memory capacity is very low,only i cans tore 10 sms.Even iam not able to recieve picture messages and downloading the ringtones and wallpapers has become dream.I feel for the amt what i brought i would have got a better mobile than this.Iam using it from past 5 months..now battery is not surviveing for 1 day .Continuously we can't talk for more hrs

        I bought Benq M100 mobile a month back and these are the problem I found in it. Previously I used Motorola T190 mobile and I can give a comparison

        i) Fast dialing is missing as in T190. In T190, we could save numbers in specific locations and could retrieve it by typing the location and pressing the #. This feature is tried to provide in M100 but it is a failure. You can type a location and press #, you will get the number stored in that location. (This feature is not mentioned in the manual.) But while storing a number you cannot specify the location. The mobile will store the address in some random location.
        ii) Like Nokia phones cannot add our won words to the directory. Switching between capital and small letters is difficult.
        iii) No message icons available. The icons are displayed as characters only.
        iv) The manual mentions about downloadable wallpapers. Some websites also provide wallpapers, screensavers, ringtones. But none of the sites talk about how to download it. Nobody knows how do download wallpapers, screen savers
        v) The phone supports polyphonic ring tones. But you can only download mono ring tones.
        vi) The manual in the beginning says the date format can be changed. But it is not possible to change the date format
        vii) As most of the colour mobile phones, in sun you cannot see anything on the screen.



        Good things
        i) Good colour display
        ii) Good ringtones set by factory
        iii) 30 missed calls, 30 dialed numbers, 30 received numbers, 500 phone book entries you can store.
        iv) Has features like calendar, memo, alarms etc.

        Those Indians already bought this phone can think of suing the manufacturers for misguiding manual. Sure you will win. I don’t know about laws of other countries. Those who have Motorola T190 Please don’t go for this Benq M100

                i am using benqm100 for past 2 months but still i am not able to download any ringtone to my mobile.and while buying the mobile they assured that the composer will soon available in it.and if my friend is sending a ringtone then it is being received as a message and not able to play it but getting FAILED.so please rectify the problems of ur customer and satisfy us by adding new innovations which will competete with others.

                  BenQ M100 has no specific special features.
                  The dealer said it has WAP As well as GPRS,
                  but unfortunately it has nothing except colo display.
                  Really it is waste of buying that phone.

                    i must confess dat is one of the worst mobiles in its range ..a sony ericson j200i comes for a lil more n has evrythin frm download options to gprs services n screensavres n even better ringtones n can download singtones too.. i WUD STRONGLY SUGGEST PPL NOT TO BUY BENQ M 100 IF AT ALL I CAN ADRESS NY GRIEVANCES AGAINST D COMPANY I'LL RAISE MY VOICE AGAINST THEM they r actually foolong ppl by spreadin the word dat it has gprs.. to share further views or if at all therz ne gud unique thin abt it do mail me pls my mail id is magnetic4u@rediffmail.com .. comments welcome!!

                      any of u know how to get these without the use of datacable??????

                        Well, i bought this one yesterday.......and am very happy with it,
                        brilliant display and very fine ringtones,battery life is very nice but it cant provide u long hours of CONTINUOUS talk time,not for very heavy users(dont buy it if its going to be your primary line)otherwise its ok.
                        it has 3 games which are ok.....u can kill time .
                        the navigation is very very user friednly with the help of its 5-way navigation.
                        concluding i would say an out and out value for money but there is one MAJOR drawback..........it does not feature GPRS not even WAP,that means u cant access the net.
                        and yes those of you looking for its ringtones and wallpapers u wont get it through the phone itself because it lacks WAP and GPRS but u can get it with the help of DATA_CABLE.

                          well its great! although i m using it for just 2 days but i found it nicer than many others. gprs is not available wich is the most depriveing drawback. have fun with m100. tak

                              IMPORTANT
                              This fon doesn't have GPRS or WAP. It cant download wallpapers and polyphonic tones, it can only download mono tones via SMS like Nokia. This is just a basic fon with incoming/outgoing and SMS facility. And yes 3 games to pass time. But at Rs 3,900/- it gives fantastic disply and rockin sound.

                                        hello,how to download the ring tones and wallpapers.my opinion on benq m100 is good.my advise is to increase the ring volume and also easily downloadable facility.the clock displayed in some country formats.pls send the reply .
