I got this phone about 3 weeks ago now and it is great. Just to confirm it comes with a 512mb memory card and has'nt got bluetooth. To put music onto it use My Computer and paste your tracks in Mp3 (the have to be in Mp3 format). PS does anyone know how to put Java applicatons onto it?

hiya my boyfriend has just got this phone nad we are sitting at the computer now trying to work out how to get mp3's onto it! weve managed to get images onto it. ive read all the opinions about the phone and hear that the music is great on it and with great memnory space too but we just cant figure out how to do it can you let me know asap. thanks xxxxx

I had no problem opening this phone under various linux machines (with hotplug running) as a USB device. Was able to upload MP3's WAVs, java midlets and use it as a generic file store for transfer - no problem.

In response: phone memory upgradable by SD card (max 1GB). I bought this, not the most feature rich phone out there but suitable for what I need. Only peeve is that to remove the SD card means taking off the back of the phone (snaps off- vulnerable to wear, damage?) then you have to remove the battery and fiddle about to get the card removed. Would have been nice if the SD card was more accessible.

hi i just bought my benQ.siemens E61, but now i realised how DUMB guy i am!! NOT A BLUETOOTH, INFRARED, nothinGGG!! this set is only good for play MP3's. even WMA won't play, no video, colour res. is worse.......but the set is fashionable. that is the only thing people like about this set. BUT i am gonna TELL those people who'll gonna buy sets....DON"T BUY THIS SET...i shouldn't have bought the Motorola slvr l7.

OK. This phone can't be added by JAVA applications. When you buy this phone, u will get miniSD 128 MB external memory.
There is NO VIDEO, IRDA or BLUETOOTH in this phone

does it really has just 1mb internal memory? something is not right here, phone, as I can see specially made for music playback, and just 1mb? something is fishy here,if it's true then they must be selling it with the memory card in the box of the phone

hi i recently lost my motorola rokr e1 and was interested in buying this phone.can anyone tell me if this is similar/worse/better than the rokr.and does it have bluetooth?? some people are saying yes and others are saying no :s

Hi, I'm planning to buy this phone but I'm a little bit confused, because the specs suprisingly differs from site to site.
So I've got some questions:
Does it really have bluetooth?
Can it take video and play video?(some say it can, some say it can't)
And if it does play video what format does it support ?

this phone is sooo lame. I can't belive it's scored better than the w700 an extra £50 will buy you a handset with all the works. 2MEG camera, bluetooth, IRDA, walkman... More memory!

Just tell you that this E61 can not be pluged in any additional application. This is so poor because I also have this phone, but I still enjoy the music!!! 1GB is so great!!!!!

Eventhough the price is reasonable, i still don't like this phone. Bluetooth, oh... c'mon!!! even more there is no connectivity at all!!! and than the internal memory( 1 MB ). Do you sure E61 can worked with 512MB - 1 GB????

i don't know why they don't put in the spec that it can play WAV also.
The sound is great. speaker is loud and clear.but still less than SE one.
Anyway, it's affordable with those features at that price. GREAT PHONE
