My playbook 4G LTE works perfect. But my only problem is that,when I insert a micro sim,it says sim not detected..what would be the problem?I don't think its the port cause its able to notice there's a simcard and matter of fact its new..

buy an app called spare phone in blackberry world, it's $2.99... sign into it with google, & you have a dialer.

Can I make calls on a playbook 32gb?Cause I would find hard to reason as to why they would make 1 with a sim slot when you can't make calls

I have performed the following steps on my new BB Playbook 32 GB without GSM SIM: (it took about 2 - 3 hrs to update my Playbook but it worked fine afterwords)
1. You need wi-fi internet access or you can go to a internet cafe which provides wi-fi internet access.
2. Switch ON your BB Playbook and enable wi-fi in your BB Playbook.
3. It will ask you about few settings and will start updating your BB Playbook's Operating Syatem.
4. Once the update is completed you are free to customize as per your requirement.
