Hello friends. I don't know why you guys blame this phone and the users.
I have this phone, actually this bb is awesome for me. I have this bb for 6months , and i have no problem like you haters!

Let me explain in point :
1. Battery : is very good. I'm a heavy web browser, and bb 9900 is good. I charge it on 5am, before i go to college. And still got 35% when i come home. Which means from 7am till 8pm. And it still got the moves! Amazing!

2. Internet and wi-fi : speed is wickedly fast. Depend on our internet provider. I use it to browse, and it surfs so fast. And the wi-fi is very good. (no more words)

3. Camera : please, this is a phone!! Phone is just a phone, not DSLR camera! I know, the camera is fixed focus. But i'm amazed when i know that the video recorder is HD support. Now, the fixed focus camera is not a big problem for me. I have own digital camera. Still Need a good camera? Buy a digital camera hahaha!

4. Body and keyboard : the construction is very solid. Slimmest bb yet i think. The keyboard is amazing. Recomended for everyone who loves texting!!

5. Os, ram, memory : well actually, i have no problem with that. I think, the specs is very enough for me. Very fast, no lagging or freezing. Memory is enough. For music, photos, and anything. Perfectly packed!

So guys, if you want to know more about this bb, you should buy it. This just my opinion. Don't you guys compare this bb with iOS, android, wp, symbian, meego, or else. Every OS is perfect for their own device. The have their own orders from the creator. Use it, and feel it, so you people will understand :)
i'm not bb die hard fan, but i use this bb and i feel good with this bb. Respect for RIM and blackberry!!!!

Guys, this is the first time to use BB mobile (BB BT 9900) because I usually use my old nokia c3 touch and type and samsung galaxy ace....

My question is why I can't use wifi to browse in the default browser or to connect in fb app even though I'm already connected in the wifi?.... I tried to use my SG Ace and it connects easily and I can use the net while in the BB BT9900, i can't connect and browse....

And why is it that the Mobile Network automatically turn off when the battery is low?.... It's not good when you're in an emergency situation, how can you send sms or call someone....

Am I just the only one facing these problems?.... Hope you can answer my question BB BT9900 users....
    Thanks in advance....

battery life depends on how many applications you are using at the same time. of course if you are using tons of apps at the same it will run off your battery life no matter how often you charge it...

Good design and comfort.. but low battery life + frequent OS restart problem makes it Undependable. 90mins conference call drains the battery completely.. thus making the carry of charger or USB cable mandatory or even day trips.

Battery life and OS stability seems to have been traded for Touchscreen features.. Touch function on limited real estate is pointless.

9900 BB Battery and performance is enormously disappointing.. Battery Life and OS stability is a must.. else iphone is better choice.

i stuck on bb phones just because they have a physical keyboard.though they have poor battery performance the keyboard always makes stay with them. i would choose android if they had physical keyborads like the bb has.

Guys/Gals.. let me share my xperience. I am using Galaxy SII and been using it for almost a year now. Primarily for calls, text, READ emails, FB. Occasionally for games (less actually), doc editting and to make it as AP for my net/notebook. I always put it in GSM mode and will switch to auto mode when i need data traffic tru it. With this setup, the batt can only to last up to 16 - 24 hours depending on the usage combination mentioned. If i were to use it for AP, i gotta hook it tru USB, otherwise the batt power will drain like nobody biz... So.. in short it is all depend on u. U want more batt power? Purchase an after-market stuff that can provide u with extra power. As for this BB B T 9900.... I am on de way to grab it... It looks nice to me. It's affordable now in Malaysia after almost a year released. Batt issues? Nahhhh..... I will manage.. Not a big deal...

Still failed to understand why the giant companies are making expensive phones with zeeeero battery life.... are they not capable enough.....poor battery life and often it does not connect with the caller unless we switch it off, remove battery and restart it....funny.... pls dont play with black berry users.... as they are brand loyal what about you bb ?

I uses this phone and it's amazing. The battery is not a problem for me, because it depends on our usage. Highly recommended for everyone who wants to buy BB for the first time, and everyone who wants to change their phone :)

I have been using it for about a month now. I last 1-1.5 days with my battery. It depends on how you use it.

I bought this phone on Saturday evening. I'm writing this on Monday night. Battery is decent on Vodafone 2G network in Mumbai - Maharashtra - India.
I fully charged my device by 6:15am and then was out on tour. by 9:15am I paired my MW600 handsfree to phone. In an entire day approx calling was 2:15hrs. E-mails, Tweeting, BBM Chat was used. Heard songs for almost 45mins in total via bluetooth. at 7pm still 30% charge was left. (Using battery meter app). the people complaining here might be using 3G. I'm not keen to use 3G and happy with 2G. Amazing display and touch feel. I'm loving by 9900.

Its absolutely beautiful but has zero battery life!
If i dont bbm or make calls the whole morning the battery still wont last even past 12 midday. Thats the only major downfall of it. All my friends have it and my company issues it as company fones and we're all complaining.
