i just bought a blackberry but it gives me lot of problems.the bluetooth does not work , every time i try to send something from another phone it keeps on saying sending failed even if the blue tooth is on,
please help

My bb has GPS and map but I can't access my location. The options are available on the phone but locked. Can you pls help me out? Is there any additional settings needed to know my location from my bb?

If you look at the above problems, you can send files BB tp could not accept the file. It means the bluetooth is not a problem ....
So to BB who use OS 5 down way to receive the file is:
1.Setelah you have made a pairing (I believe the process can be paired already, having been able to send files. Tp that can not be paired, you can set up paired according written by liesiang above).
2. Then when the BB we will accept the file, for example, will receive a jpg image file. Select the Media menu and choose Picture / Image, then click the BB logo and select the Received file / Receive files ....
3. Then there will be a waiting message received files / Pending receive files. When it was time BB / HP your opponent to make the delivery process the file to your BB ....

I would seriouslly not recommend anybody for this. The battery is so weak danm its with just 3-4 calls. Bluetooth works between BB only not with other mobiles so if urs BB circle hope kind of ok service, r it might b urs woest mistake ever

no blackberry curve 8530 is not a gsm phone.. it is 3g and cdma.
