Hi guys.. First of all I would say it is the worst phone I ever had in my life, its like the biggest mistake I have ever done.. Never go for any BB phone. Better go for a CHINESE dan BB..

A piece of advise to you all, if you want to use your NET packs (I.e vodafone-95 airtel-99) dan I can give u a tip about how you can use it in your phone.. You don't have to recharge dat 399 wala pack..
Here are the Instructions:-
-- settings-device-advance system settings- tcp ip- enable the APN settings and in the lower APN: write 'www' den save it !
After some time recharge your phone with the net pack.. You will able to use Whatsapp n Facebook in Opera mini !

*If your BlackBerry continually restarts:

- Remove the Battery from the Smartphone and then remove the media card and SIM card (if applicable), after a few seconds, reinstall the battery only. It is useful first step if a phone is experiencing hardware, software, or wireless network problems. (Please note that a reset of BlackBerry does not delete any settings or data)
- If the BlackBerry Smartphone successfully boots then remove the battery and reinsert the SIM card. (Please note that if SIM card is causing the rebot cycle contact the wireless carrier to troubleshoot the SIM card or the service associated with the SIM card)
- If the phone successfully boots with the SIM card then remove the battery and insert the media card. (Please note that if the media card is causing the reboot cycle it maybe related to the data on the media card and using a computer to read the media card maybe required.)

If the issue persists, verify that the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software is installed using the application loader tool on the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. (Please note that the following steps will delete either all data, or all data and application on the BlackBerry phone. Back up your phone data before proceeding.)

For BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5 to 5.0, you have to:
- Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager
- Click Help
- Select About Desktop Manager
- Click the Device Software tab
- Verify that the BlackBerry Device Software displayed is the latest version currently available from the wireless service provider. You can also download the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Software from www.blackberry.com
- Connect your phone to the computer using data USB cable and open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager
- Double-click Application Loader
- Click Start under Update Software to start the installation process
- Type your phone password, if prompted, and click OK
- Select Options under Device Software Options
- Select the check boxes next to the names of the applications to be loaded, then click Next
- Click OK > Next > Finish
- When the process has completed, the message The loading operation was successful will appear. Click Close to return to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. To perform an installation of the BlackBerry Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.1 to 4.3, complete steps 6 through 10, above, and then proceed with step 15
- Select the check boxes next to the names of the applications to be loaded, and then click Next
- Click Finish
- When the process has completed, the message The loading operation was successful will appear, click Close to return to BlackBerry Desktop Manager

For BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0 to 7.0, you have to:
- Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer using data USB cable and open the BlackBerry Desktop Software
- On the home screen of the BlackBerry Desktop Software, click Device
- Click Update my device in the list
- Type the BlackBerry smartphone password, if prompted, and click OK
- Click Install
- Click Install Update

If you want to add or remove additional applications on the BlackBerry, select Applications. And please note that it can take several mins for the applications to be displayed.

Hate this phone to the core ... moreGo on the internet find Googles frontpage highlight the webbaddress at the top and save address to homescreen (thats ur desktop)or bookmarks. Now go on Google and search Facebook , go on the log in page again highlight the webbaddress save on homescreen or bookmarks. Same thing with G-mail , search , highlight , save. Dont download the Facebook app. there is to many issues with it you only need to use the webb. Then after you saved everything just klick on the icon you wish to use and log in as usual. Hate this phone to the core ... moreGo on the internet on to Google - save webbaddress to homescreen or bookmarks - search Facebook and klick the link , before logging in save address to home or bookmarks , then you log in to Facebook as usual. Same with g-mail , search Google for g-mail , go on g-mail and save address. Dont try to download Facebook there are a lot of bugs with the app. Just use the webb like you do with a PC. Worst phone i ever had in my life. Pathetic.. So much pissed off with this phone that Every time its battery dozzed off even after hours of charging. I have so been irritated that even i cant use whatsapp. 10 times a day it got hanged due to which i need to take off my battery and restart it. I would never ever recommend any one to go for blackberry.

Mistake that I have took bb !! Hate this phone to the core its it really annoying I can use every thing in internet browser but can't access my gmail and facebook account plse tell me what to do ?? And sometimes wats app will also stop working tierd of. Taking out the batery and rebooting it

Worst phone which i have ever used this phone was my deram but after 2 months of purchased i was totally surpirsed i have given 3 time for replacement but each an every time i have got same faulty phones blackberry 9220 is the worst phone which i have ever used in my life.

Hi..
Before somedays I purchased blackberry 9220.
This is my dream fone,
I am vry hppy after prchasing it.
But,
Now My happiness Change into sadness and
I am vry sad to prchasing to this device.
The reason that my fone switching 15-20 time in a day sometimes rebooting also.
What wrong with blackberry its a brand Are RIM forgot this thing £
Don't purchase this fone
Its a vry irretating meand u also.
Problms»
1 rebooting itself.
2 auto switch off again and again[not. in auto mode].
3 batterry backups vry vry low.
4 overheating after INTERNET Browsing.
5 sometimes hang.
.
.
Etc.
I went to servise centre but they replying its a need to software update and they also reload it but the same problms create.
But now my fone is dameged by me so not in warrenty nowday.
So what can - do ?
Its a big problm fr me.

@kamal sharma---its not device problem just contact your sirvice provider but first do a battery pull (reboot) your phone and make sure that your data sirvice in on.(Type "date sirvice" on home screen and check that)...gud luck.
@ MM---somethimes this type of devices get automatically hanged or overheat but first check if you install any new app, this also may a reason for that and if not then simply do a battery pull.....if you still got that problem contact your service center ASAP...gud luck.

i am using the blackberry curve 9220 but data plan is activate but edge is small latter . i am calling many time in blackberry service center but no solution till date. so please request you to kindly solve my problem
