well, i hv this device n my experience with this device is very gud..in this range of price its a gud blackberry. i'll hardly suggest it for following users..
-want to regular in touch with their social life..(with BIS plans which i experienced)
-need gud battery life for calls..
-not required very fast internet speed..
-normal camera and radio..
-need more memory for applications..
-want to enjoy fastest chating experience in real time i.e. BBM..
-need a very fast and responsible software..(blackberry 7.1 os)..
-need gud music and video quality..
-who wants a trustworthy and believable company i.e.- THE BLACKBERRY...
if u are the user with above needs then surely go for it. its a very gud device in this range of price..so if u want a smartphone for above reasons must got it without waste your money in others...Gud Luck..

Im connected to a wifi network but i can not browse or use facebook on my BB 9220. It says that my service plan does not support this application and says that connect to a wifi network or contact my service provider to upgrade my data plan.. please help!

I have been using the BB Curve 9220 for almost a month now, all i can say is it is a good phone. But for its price i expect more from it, i mean i can get more features at a lower price in other cellphone brands. The camera is poor when it comes to clarity and details especially during night time as it is only 2MP without flash. The QWERTY keypad is very frustrating, i find it difficult to text, is it my big thumb or how the QWERTY was laid out?, i don't know. The audio output is okay, i say not excellent but satisfactory. Overall the BB Curve 9220 is user-friendly. What I like about the unit is it is thin, very portable, making a call is great, you can access two of your favorite feature or application via the physical buttons on both sides of the phone, it has dedicated BBM button that can be set to another application for easy access. On the right side just below the volume racker is another button which is also programmable to access another application, its optical trackpad is very responsive, very smooth, but sometimes when scrolling through images it lags a bit. Overall it is a good phone but if you are looking for multimedia prowess the BB Curve 9220 is not for you. I have a Nokia N82, though quite old model which was released in 2007, its multimedia capabilities and camera [5MP Carl Zeiss, Xenon Flash optics] is way better than the BB9220. The BB Curve 9220's internet capability is very good, surfing the net via the wifi is amazing, download speed is great, a dependable phone especially when making calls, after all that's what phones are originally made to do, it is a stylish phone as well.

This phone is great . But i am facing some problems with this phone. A very great problem. The problem is when i call someone call has been automatically cut after 5 or 6 seconds and Show a speech like that " The call was not connected. Please try again later " When somebody call me call is automatically received and cut after 01 or 02 second... Can anybody help me please how to solve this problem ???
