i love my blackberry. the battery is superb. i used it 3 straight days without charging. used this for emails and work related stuffs. if you wan't playing games, this phone is not for you, go for android and experience battery problems.:) but if you want something useful and helpful then this is highly recommended.

Just had the 9220 last July 2012. Battery is ok,especially when I turn off the wifi when not in use, set the batt saving mode to "always On", batt lasts up to more than 24 hrs even if i call regularly and use it as an mp3/ipod music player. However, last nyt, b4 going to bed i turned on the auto off and auto on feature - to be off at 2am and then On by 5am. the battery is still 45 - 50% when i went to sleep. but when i got up arnd 5:35am, i was surprised to see that the reamining battery is only 5%.
Can anyone tell me what just happenned and why? Was that normal?

I had this handheld unit only 2nd of August and so far, I'm loving it! If you are searching for a mobile that is loaded with applications and will get you updated with your social contacts, this one is for you! I am totally impress with the performance of this BB. everything I need is in this phone. I don't need to log in to my FB, email, both Yahoo and Gmail account, yahoo messenger, gmail talk coz I found it just in my hand! It is a good package from Blackberry. It is stylish, and you can customize as per your style. there is only one thing I don't like with this phone. Battery drains fast and I have to charge it everyday. But i understand why it is like that, Coz it is loaded with applications. For anyone out there searching to buy a new unit, I recommend BB 9920.

my bbm contact picture got blurry,and also for the thumbnail preview.is it the carrier or not? i mean am i the only one who has this prob for 9220?it looks like 9220 got low pixels

Just to avoid confusion on what I've said, optional apps means apps that can be downloaded, required apps are the ones already installed in the unit.
I can even play large (1.4 - 1.8gb mp4 format hi res) videos, since I'm a music lover, FM radio is a plus for me to know the latest local and RNB songs.
The device analyzer is superb, though I haven's tried other funtions but I was able to monitor data usage, for 7 days I already recived 60.983 mb and transmit 18.78 mb. That includes downloading of optional apps and web browsing.
Battery? yep it drains fast because I always play music using bluetooth headset while other apps like FB, yahoo messenger, twitter and BBM are running......oh I also have 3 emails pushed on my bb.
As to my favorite feature multi tasking is still smooth, so easy to switch back and forth in diff apps.
Having a secured phone (if you know how to use its security feature) while enjoying the features mentionned above is why I stick on Blackberry
Oh and one thing, here in the Philippines, Blackberry has the cheapest data plan and has a variety of plans that you can change every month.

i am using bb 9220 ... but i cant d-load some apps.. and cannot access to my fb ... but i can access to twitter ....
* my cousin told me that it may differ to the memory card that im using.. cause she changed her mem. card thats why she can now d-load some apps....is that possible..?

that blackberry9220 is good but internet package s are tooo cost and its too deffrest os then ondroid n windows
