About the 2G, there will be the 3G version coming up... It is a replacement of gemini and kepler... BB in 2G much better for internet then Android or iphone in same network, because BB data is compressed and had a special internet line... This version is segmented to college student and yougster... So don't misjudge.. (Sorry for broken english)

To all that using this BB, I want to ask how about the security of this phone ? Is the device is fully encrypted ?
I come from android,
I know that there's a lot of android phone with same or even lower price tag than this but have more awesome features.
But we all know that Android security is very bad. Even full device encryption can be bypassed by ADB.
So that's why I planned to switch to blackberry in near future.
So, is anyone can help my question, is this BB has full device encryption ?

hey guys i bought this mobile 7 days back its awesome, let me tell u very frankly though blackberry9220 is not offering 3g and higher megapixels camera, but picture wuality of 2mp is as good as 5mp, and as in India we hav not the regular user of 3G,so i prefer too all college goings students and businessman try this phone you will fall in love with it...its my challenge

I am proud owner of this phone.
Bought it for 10800/- INR
Pros:-
Pricing.
7.1 os.
Slim phone.looks premium.
Sound quality very good.
Battery life good decause of no 3g.
2g speed good
Cons:-
Qwerty pad buttons hard to press but one can do with it.buttons don't feel premium.but pad look good.
Camera not good.2mp dosen't do much.
No 3g.
Overall the phone satisfies my needs. What I wanted was good internet speed 2g or 3g & qwerty pad for easy typing at low cost & brand phone.

New model of BB 9220 have touch screen in cheaper rate compare to other models even in same time u can take photos send to many ppl.

grow up bb..! I expect sum gud phones frm u. M using bb 9780 n its just awesome. And u making ppl get rid of bb cant understand.
Reaon to buy 9220 is radio. Carp.. Guys grow up even nokia cheap phones r also giving radio.
Cant understand y bb make bb users go crap.. Never ever understood.
