i bought this blackberry and im so satisfied with this phone. Just upgraded to OS 7.1.0.714 and u will get more fantastic experience with this blackberry. For example,smoother touch screen,FM Radio support,etc :D

Hey I had few months ago blackberry 8530 and yo in few month he died friezed and did nt work so good on internet, yesterday I got the blackberry curve 9360, I got really angry because charged it 9 hours yesterday and what happened today he died on me 2 times bb I only can do 20 minutes then he dies, now tommorow I get the 9380 is that a better phone or what

I used to have a 9780 and had on 3G full-time and used to charge later or tomorrow but with this one, its half a day on Edge and on 3G its 3hrs. I wish blackberry would do something about it.

I am using Blackberry Curve 9380 for months now. Although I really like the large screen and the quality of its camera and the its display feature. It only fails to impress me is the battery. I often charge my phone at least twice in 24 hours, though my mode is on 2G. I often browse and update my Social Networking accounts using my phone and I am always on the look out if the battery will fail when I needed it the most.
I want to ask if upgrading to the Official BB OS 7.1 will somehow improve the battery life? Or Purchasing a new JM-1 battery will help me with my dilemma?

If u guys want a blackberry fone go for 9780 bold battery up to one week normal use internet normally eat battery but not much like android other wise neither iphone nor Samsung and nokia fone can make u have your email like a message on the go

I have blackberry 9380 now for about 6 weeks and find the following.
Plus Points.
1) Battery lasts two days with texting and voice calls (I have turned the green led off)
2) Internet and BB Messenger (I dont use these as i use the phone for text and voice calls) I used to use the HTC Wildfire S which was bad on battery and low on ring volume which i found to be a disgrace.
3) Texting is good but i would prefer a 4x3 texting app (this should have been supplied as standard)
Negative Points
QWERTY Only is not ideal if you like predictive text.
Auto Display Rotate (wont turn off by settings you have to get an app and pay for it, should be free).
Otherwise great little phone much prefer this to Android.

own this phone here in Jamaica used it on 3G and 2G networks from both carriers Digicel and LIME, browsing speed is a bit slow on either 3g or 2g and yes it can run 4G i don't know why they never stated this here... also i upgraded it to OS7.1 and the battery life has increased considerably it also adds a radio option. good phone in my opinion just sad it looks so much like the Storm 2.

Guys im using blackberry 9380 curve ,, it is a good phone , but net is not so fast .... but now im using Iphone 4gs n im really happy with it .........
