Maybe even OS 6, but the battery life in OS 6 isn't as good, but Internet will be much better than OS 5. Stay away from OS 7 because even though it is the newest OS the battery life is horrible compared to earlier versions.

The reason some of the new BB overheat is because of the chargers themselves. The new BB chargers seem to get cheaper as they progress. If you have the older version of chargers for the new phone than you will not have the phone overheat.

Hi All,
I want to buy a Blackberry mobile-may be in a month's time. My requirements are:
1.Good battery life
2.Good processor
3.Ease of use(user friendliness)
4.Reasonable camera performance
5.Qwerty key pad
6.Good music quality
7.Reasonable internal storage
What I don't want:
1.Touchscreen
2.Playing games
3.Watching video
The phone will be used mostly for official work.So, nothing better than BB,I think. Accessing net
for entertainment will be part-time job.
I am a middle level banker and have so far mostly used Nokia phones( using C7 and E72 presently).
My budget for this new handset is around 30K.
Request the actual users to help me in selecting the correct BB model.Or, should I look for some
other handset like Samsung/HTC/Motorola?

How is the battery backup? Also, is it 3G compatible and can I make a video call? Does it have a frontfacing camera? please help.

this phone is great, unfortunately it has weak battery life. i charged my phone for 7 hours last night, and it only lasted for 3hours on use. even during night, when you're not using it, it still consumes battery life.
