BlackBerry Hub+ app suite is now available for all Android devices running Marshmallow

In a move that clearly won't benefit its smartphone sales numbers, BlackBerry is today making a whole suite of applications available to any device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is called BlackBerry Hub+ and it's comprised of the BlackBerry Hub and other BlackBerry-made apps such as Calendar, Password Keeper, Contacts, Tasks, Device Search, Notes, and Launcher.

The Canadian company thinks the best way to get all of these is to go to the Play Store and download the BlackBerry Hub+ Services app (if you see it - the rollout is staged and this isn't showing up for us yet). Then enter that app, tap on Apps by BlackBerry, and install the ones you want to use.

You can play with any of them for free for 30 days, after which you have a choice to make - either not pay anything but see ads, or pony up 99 cents per month to get the whole suite ad-free. In the future, these apps might even show up on iOS, and BlackBerry promises it's looking to expand access to devices running older versions of Android too.
