BlackBerry KEYone doesn't fare well in comprehensive durability test

Now that it's finally become available to purchase, the BlackBerry KEYone has been acquired by the JerryRigEverything YouTube channel. You probably know what follows - that's right, the full durability test, comprising of scratching, burning, and bending the phone to see if (or when) it fails and in what ways.

The KEYone is off to a good start when subjected to the scratch test. Its screen withstands this as much as it should, while the textured material on the back is surprisingly resilient.

The device can take an open flame for around 16 seconds before the part of the screen that's burned will go black, but the good news is that if you take the flame away it will recover.

What didn't go so well for the KEYone was the bend test, because its screen immediately popped out. That's not surprising when you find out that there's absolutely no adhesive holding it in place.
