BlackBerry launches the Passport Silver Edition, out today
Today BlackBerry has simultaneously announced and released a new version of its Passport smartphone. This one is called BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition, and it's silver - unlike the model that's been selling so far, which is black.
Aside from the new color, the new iteration brings with it a stainless steel frame for a premium look. In terms of specs, however, there's no difference between this and the original black Passport.
So you'll get the same 4.5-inch 1,440x1,440 square touchscreen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.26 GHz quad-core Krait CPU, the 13 MP rear camera with OIS and LED flash, the 2 MP front-facing unit, and the 3,450 mAh battery. The BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition runs BlackBerry OS 10.3.2.
It's already available to purchase in the US from BlackBerry itself for $549 in unlocked form. For a limited time, if you buy one you'll also get some free accessories worth $130. The device will make its way to the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands "in the coming weeks".

I love B 's! The majority of cell phones for me have been a BB. I have had the BB Priv for the last 3 yrs. This has been the worst mistake I have made in my life!!! I had to send the cell phone back three times. It's always HOT! It gives a mess...
