BlackBerry Magnum surfaces again, this time on video
You might have spotted some BlackBerry Magnum images these days and now we also have a video to show you. It comes to confirm that the Magnum will be the first BlackBerry device to pack a hardware QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen at the same time
It was May 2009 when we first told you that a BlackBerry device codenamed as Magnum is in the works. There were hardly too many specs known at that time - the smartphone was said to run on a 624 MHz CPU, similar to the one in BlackBerry Bold 9700 feature a 624MHz CPU), and pack GPS receiver, 3G with HSDPA and Wi-Fi.
BlackBerry Magnum a.k.a. Dakota
The display of the rumored BlackBerry Magnum (a.k.a. Dakota) is expected to be of HVGA resolution but there is something more important about it here: it's a clickable touchscreen. It will use the piezo-electric technology of the Storm2, which should make it less demanding on the fingers.
So, the Magnum come to fill the gap between the Bold and the Storm/Storm2. It packs both a full hardware QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen, which sounds promising. Now how about they did something about that BlackBerry OS and its prehistoric user interface.
It is still unknown when we can expect the Magnum to show up officially and how much it will cost.

I'd rather shoot myself than touch another touch screen phone again. I just got a bold a month ago, LOVE IT. I upgraded or downgraded from a touch screen. I'm so glad I did. I HATE TOUCH SCREENS!!!
