I still wouldint get it because it has no 3G support as opposed to other tablets, and it has low resolution

Lots slower of course but useable. I would therefore suggest that only being able to pair with a Blackberry phone is a myth.

Fails 9/10 times whe... morefrikkie i have to disagree with you there. eve though it hasn't got many apps compared to android or even apple. it is still by far the best puschase i have ever made. im not saying it is...but could the problem be your internet as my internet is very poor where i live and has the same affect on all my tablets phones and consoles.
i have created so many word documents i dont know what to do with them and used it for presentations pretty much on a daily basis, and always without fail take it everywhere i go as its very portable and always connected to the internet either via hotspots or via my phone, i have a blackberry 9900, iphone 4s, htc sensation xl. the blackberry is the main one that i use, but i have connected it to both my htc and iphone with no problems on the internet. maybe that is the way forward for you?

Chirag , 08 Nov 2012Guys plz reply...can we connect PB to other mobile WiFi rat... moreif you have blackberry phone then buy this playbook or if you have wifi hotspot in your mobile then buy this but you can't transfer files through bluetooth with other phones.only blackberry phone can connect to playbook via bluetooth.

Should I download out market apps like Android apps post tell I mean going to this for myself

Can someone please help, I can't use my bb playbook with my bb curve 8520 I have tried to download app world again still the same. My BBM won't upgrade to new ones

Had my PB for 6 months and I gotta say I love it worth every penny,now ya can pick one up for $140.00 I definitely buy another...but if ya ain't got the Logitech BT mouse "get it" its an f in must people

As a matter of fact Kola, yes, you can open and even work on documents in word, excel and powerpoint formats. The dedicated app for this on the playbook is called 'docs to go.'
The BlackBerry Playbook I must confess is the most underrated tablet in the market today, but I have never regretted purchasing one since September 2012 (64GB). Mine is a wifi-only version, but with my BlackBerry smartphone, I don't bother if I'm not in a wifi environment cos I can always bridge the Playbook with my phone. I don't know of any tablet that has this very cool feature not even the more expensive ipad nor Samsung galaxy tab or note.
If you don't have a BB phone, not to worry cos you could always tether any smartphone with the Playbook as long as the phone has a bluetooth connectivity and an active data plan. This gets you on the internet.

This is one of the worst devices EVER! Fails 9/10 times when updating software, its slower than an old nokia 3310, the wifi reception on it is VERY poor even if i sit right next to the router, i WON'T ever recomment this to any one. This one is a money waister!
