get one of your friends who have a galaxy s2 to try it with a hitspot anf you will see
galaxy s2 wireless portable hotspot is incompatible with playbook. i have a useless playbook as a result.

Will QNX 2.0 support file receiving and sending from/to other mobile device via bluetooth?
Will it support music listening via any bluetooth headset after pairing the same with the help of bluetooth connectivity?
I believe both the features are unavailable in current QNX 1.0.8.

It doesnt support ad-hoc network!! I had to go & buy a wireless adsl modem for this shit to work! Unable to setup while connected to PC...need WiFi to activate!! Downloads upate & got cut...it start from begining son of a gun! Will keep you posted, Regards Papu Maharaja

the blackberry playbook itself, does not have bbm in it. But you can sync your blackberry smartphone through a feature called blackberry bridge which enables you to access to the net anywer provided you have the required data plan... so you can use bbm just on a bigger screen.... But with my personal experience i think that the playbook is an amazing thing and is a must buy... it gives u dat new feeling which u dnt gt in neodr tabs thez days...

Surprisingly I found ... moreTethering is a feature of a device as phone to provide over WiFi or bluetooth data connection, PlayBook is receiving such feature from phone, so PlayBook is not to be blamed. Tethering is a fancy name that means making a phone to work as a WiFi router, the tablet does not care if it is a phone set to tether or normal router.

I am currently using my playbook connected to my Samsung Galaxy Mini thru Wi-Fi hotspot of the phone and it is working just fine. Blackberry playbook is a very good tablet. Read more before you advice nonsense.

I am planning to buy a BB Playbook.I have a 500GB External Portable HDD.Anyone who knows if it is possible to connect my external HDD and view my work without having to save on the BB?
Does it have an adapter like Samsung Galaxy tab.Please help!

noob , the playbook has the best flash player ever ...
the pb browser supports flash natively , besides that with a rooted and corectly configured playbook it beats ipad and android , since a rooted playbook will run full android it works really well in android and under its native os (playbook os a.k.a qnx linux)

Recently I bought wifi only playbook. Surprisingly I found this model does not have compatibility with samsung galaxy s2 i9100.
I tried creating wifi hotspot from s2 but playbook failed to used teather from s2 and use internet. I went to samsung center ,same s2 can teather with othr tabs and phones but not with playbook.
Now, I went to blackberry center , none of playbook model support teather from s2.
I come to know that playbook does not support teather from many other samsung models.
Buyer take care of that.
