What a disastrous attempt by RIM. I wrote to the CEO shortly after RIM'S recent hell week, which clearly is still ongoing based on this impractical design. Porsche should stick to cars. Their boat idea didn't take off either. Why a company in such a vulnerable position would gamble on such products, waste time and money messing around is ludicrous. Yes I'm upset. Why? Because they can do better. Sooo typically Canadian to constantly fall behind the top players. And yes I am Canadian. Proud, but frustrated with mediocre attempts at progress. Sorry folks, I haven't had my beer yet. Anyway, Research In Motion should hire a better research team. It isn't difficult to figure out what kind of solutions they need to implement here. (I'm still waiting for "the call"). Stick to your flagships, make slight improvements and build brand loyalty. Kind of like.. Hmm, Idont know, THE 911!.
