Gentlemen, the discussion about specs and price is irrelevant.
This is a 'designer' or 'personalized' incarnation of the Bold 9900 and it's destined for an exclusive clientele.
In case you didn't notice, the keyboard is dual-alphabet (Latin and Arabic) because the target market is the GCC (Gulf) region.

Black berry storm 9500 is not a soft touch , i like the look but that the thing is that it's not friendly use phone

I expected porsche to have made some hardware changes or addition, instead they only changed to casing, without the case, th porsche design p'9981 is the same as boldtorch 9900, so I was expecting it not to be sold above $500, but for it to be placed on a price tag of $2,000 is very funny because on p'9981 casing, there is no addition of gold or diamond, to why the high price tag

wow!!! $2000 and no sec camera, video @ just 720p not even 1080p @ 30fps. primary cam @just 5mp same level with sam gxy s not even s2. man its just a show of wealth for those that have excess to throw away. i like the outter design its cool and looks solid but the price and the interior (features) it aint trully worth it. i must be honest with rim.

I have a Blackberry 9780........... compared 2 the features that i have on my phone, ALMOST the same and i feel the shape of the phone is terrible

I believe Blackberry can do much better than this. I wouldn`t expect it from this company. And what about porsche? I´m so dissapointed!

It looks a lot nicer than the other QWERTY Black Berry phones, but the price is TOO expensive... I wonder how it looks if it comes in WHITE Color???

Design is too dated n complicated... Porsche primarily doesn’t kno how to produce its sports cars in gud shape n now wat r they tryin to prove wid de phones… the model seems to be an obvious failure in de market.

Of course it is going to be expensive - it has Porsche associated with it. The Motorola V3 D&G was the same, along with the LG Prada - grossly overpriced, but people clamoured for them. Stick a label on it, and people WILL pay the price to own it, even if the spec isn't spectacular. Look at all Apple products for example....
