This an excellent move made by blackberry. Typing so smooth, connection is good and stable, call quality is slightly above average, ringtone is good but honestly it doesn't sound loud enough for me (or it's just my ear?) For those experiencing disconnected call and unstable touch screen, i recommend to upgrade to newer/newest OS as to conserve battery life too. You may switch your network to 2G to conserve power, but fortunately we can switch to 3G when we need faster data rate. Currently i'm using my 9550 as message centre and not for making phone calls.

i dont knw why this phone sleep anytime around 10pm if am not using it.the network is always swicth of.

I bought it on January 20/2010 and the battery is not good enough it doesn't last 5 hours, only about 3. I'm not using WIFI neither Bluetooth, only 3G and not surfing the internet a lot, and it only works for 3 hours.

Salomondrin storm 2 reviews give me a clue about the old and new build up for storm 2..
It has differences in clicking and the cracks light problem bellow the screen..
Does anyone know, how can I get the new build up storm 2 from the store??
Is there any code/mark or something else on the box?
Please help me, I will buy storm 2 in a few days

I suddenly loves STORM2..
I have x1 and gemini..
Since my x1 keypad starts to error on the hardware, and bored of it contents, also the failure story about x1, and next SATIO software problems.. SE makes me disappointed of it brand and products..
Because of that,
I sacrifice my passion about having great camera phone instead I decide to sell my phones and gets STORM2.. just for information, my gemini more active a lot than my x1, my x1 already got a veggie state for several months hahaha.. LOL..
I just realized the function of online phone 24/7 and BB OS thing contents are more USEFUL than the ordinary phone - so so OS - even with very GREAT camera =)

good day.i just want to ask regarding this black berry storm 2 9550 if it will works here in europe or asia cause its states that only in U.S. cause i have my black berry storm 1.im interested with this new one if its work in europe or asia.thanks.

has to be one of the best looking handsets on the market, no doubt...but i sent my original back because of its atrocious lack of std features just about all other phones have - decent camera, decent loudspeaker, a radio, video calling cam, decent internet browsing - no flash & many java apps just wont open with the bb browser...yes the phone does the emails like a dream. the storm could be the best phone, sticking right to the iphone & the likes but RIM just haven't delivered on this new adaptation of the storm, it still has killer looks, but given RIM has had a few years to update this phone to be the world beater it should be, they've failed remarkably & re-released a phone that would've been great in 2005 not in 2010 onwards. epic fail.

can some one please help me on this issue. Just got the phone unlocked. It is recognizing only orange thats all, any other operator none (vodafone, t-mobile). can some 1 tell me whats the prob is really is?
while talking got probs like call ending by 30 sec and somethg. Its horrible pls can some 1 tell me how rto fix it.
