TheRatedR, 08 Oct 2008Wow wheres is the damn WIFI. Stupid CDMA carrier.Almost eight years on, I sympathize. Mine, however, has turned-out to be a fine little time capsule circa October 2009. I 'threw-over' my BlackBerry Storm 9530, which I'd only just bought in June of '09, for a Motorola Droid in November of 2009. When I recently woke my Storm from its long slumber of nearly six and one-half years I was pleased to find many photos of loved ones which are now departed, saved voicemails that contain the voices of some of those same departed loved ones and photos of a car I'd bought in August of '09. You're all connected to a network? This model, to my chagrined surprise, doesn't have WiFi. I was a bit naïve when buying this in June of 2009; bought one for my girlfriend too at a BJ's on Rt. 1 in Edison, NJ. We used them right away to good effect. I've got 17 minutes worth of fireworks from the 4th of July, 2009, on my Storm which has been backed-up on many computers and hard drives since. I've recently developed a desire to go back through all of my old, 'extinct' devices to see what period-media I could glean from them. I'm currently looking for valid software which would allow me to interface a Sanyo SCP 5500(L) from late 2003 with my HP laptop circa December 2015.
I also have three Palm Treo 650s (2004), a Treo 800w (2008) and a slew of early Motorola Droids dating to November 2009. The Droids are a cinch to connect to my computer. The Treo 800w is proving to be a curiosity and a museum-piece candidate yet I deeply appreciate the feeling of nostalgia which comes just from looking at it.
Guess I ought to have gotten the Storm II which does have WiFi.

I am unable to use a browser on my handset Blackberry smarthone 9530..Each time i try to connect a message pops up that "My device does not currently have any browser configuration service Book entries..What can i do to install a browser on this phone..
