Blackberry Z10 is a great device, when you hold it you feel is a well built device. About your questions.
1- It supports apk from version 10.2+
2- It uses a regular data plan, you don't need BIS.
3- The camara is 8MP but is very decent, and with the update of 10.3 it's even better, also the time shift feature allow you to take even better pictures
In overall the phone is great, I recomended it. I currently own a Blackberry Z30, I had a Z10 for a couple of month.

I have Z10 around 6 months,never had problem not with OS,no lags,no freezing,but yes some android apps is not fluid,bcs the 10.2.1 OS,next update is going to fix it,10.3.1,battery with light usage 2 days,stand by 3+,using net drain the battery fast,good display,good body,good speaker,OS the best,HUB,camera is good in day time,and so on.I am saying,you can not buy better android phone for the same price and the same specs,btw,browsing is really fast like IOS,I wish,I had the Z30,the same OS,amuled display,mach bigger battery,but the price is different.

I hate this phone, i start to use this one since one year, since the beginning this phone is eating my head. really an utter waste from blackberry i never expect this kind of a creep from BB. asshole phone. now iam using this phone like just to attend the call like nokia 6610 or similar. no internet at all...the software problem is crucial. I love BB Bold and Curve

O'WILL, 23 Oct 2014Hi I am psyched about the Blackberry Z10 and have heard a r... morebattery on this phone is very very bad, the others specifications for the price is great. this phone is one that if you use for a day in the second day you will not have problem in make all that you want to do (easy to the user). But this phone because of the capacity of battery will make you hate this phone because you got to charge more than 1 time per day. I have to charge my z10 two times a day. This phone get more than 60% of price cut in less than one year (was two bad the battery) just to blackberry can sell all the prodution .So now i give my honest opinion you chose if want the phone or not.

Hi I am psyched about the Blackberry Z10 and have heard a rather contradicting feedback from current users. A colleague of mine had given me a very disappointing opinion about the Z10 being troubling with apps and android, on the other hand though some of my clients at work sounded pleased to have bought it. Can any one please reassure me whether to but it or not? Is it really a faulty phone to have? Is it user-friendly and allows one to explore it effeciently?

I used myself use BlackBerry z10.....in features it is the best buy....but a worry is the lack of applications...but supporting the apps files of android make it a perfect 1...,

Great experience with BlackBerry Z10. Almost all android apps installing and working very smoothly. Downloading music and videos in average good speed even I'm using a waste 2G plan with idea. When using Vodafone or airtel sim, the Internet experience is great. Overall good phone. Best replacement for android and ios.

Now its two late for you!! do like me keep usb cabe in your pocket and when you near a pc charge the phone.
