I wanted a robust phone with ridiculously-long battery life. This phone fills those needs.

I get about 6 days off a charge, and it works well for all-day rides in rural areas with minimal coverage, which makes the phone transmit harder and use battery faster.

Downside, she's a big chungus, easily triple the thickness and weight of my work iphone.

The IR camera feels like a toy, until you find the occasional time when its amazingly useful. I took lots of photos of food at first, and its also helped find heat-leaks in my home.

One unexpected trick is finding studs in the wall/ceiling using the heat transmitted/blocked.

The screen is not scratch proof - get a tempered glass stick-on cover immediately. However it doesn't need a case.

I wish it got more android updates is my main gripe - this is going to be a long-term service phone for me.

Have had it for a few years and have a few things to say.
1st thing 1st, I've got it for a thermal camera. The USB attachment is worth more than a whole phone and they don't always work well so I figured better get a whole phone. As a FLIR camera it works outstanding, as a phone - not so much.
    2. It leaked the water in after the 2nd attempt to take underwater photos / videos. Leak was through the Volume Down button, it shut down and kept rebooting and doing some weird stuff for a few days, after that it was OK to use it again but the Vol Down button didn't work for nearly a year, had to really press on it to get it to work, fine now. I didn't attempt to use it in water again after that.
    3. The GPS sensor installed incorrectly. If I point my other phone heading North, the BV6600pro will show heading West, as such it's very awkward to use in Google maps when walking.
    4. The side key is too easy to press which launches your set apps when phone is in a pocket. I've personally had a flashlight assigned to it and it would be often ON when pulling phone out of pocket.
    5. Almost lost one of the little screws from the side of the phone. Screwed it back in and checked the others, few were not tight as well.
    6. It's slow but it was expected with below average phone specs.
    7. Fingerprint sensor is glitchy.
    8. Battery life is outstanding.
    9. If the BV8800pro was out at the time I bought the 6600pro, I would have gotten that one instead. Will likely wait for the next thermal camera phone from Blackview to come out to upgrade my phone.

After a year droping de phone, taking rain and sun, zero updates (my choice) the smartphone works healthy. Battery keep the 3 to 5 days normal use, no heavy glithes (around 3 times got muted for no reason, restart and are ok) and just light damage to body.

      Tip to owners:
*use sunscreen to keep the usb rubber in good state (worked to me, still here in good shape)
*Use some thick stiker around camera lenses to keep away from surface to avoid scratches when ground fall or slips.
*Use some screen sticker protector just to avoid scratches (do nos use solid thick ones, these help to break screen)

GSM arena are wonderful. Love u guys and girls S2.

I wanted a flir camera to use for my work. The price of this phone is the same as the FLIR camera module in my country. If you don't care for specs other than FLIR camera and long battery life then i recommend this for you. Couldn't be happier with my purchase on this phone.

I wanted a flir camera for a few weeks and thought the USB c one was a little to much to lose, so I bought this BV6600 Pro off of Amazon warehouse for less than £200 and got a free underwater camera for free attached to a big battery phone that lasts for days.
