This phone caught my eye at a local shop and it's discounted to €190. But upon further investigation on internet I found that it doesn't have: SD slot, headphone jack, software updates.
I'll pass.

Way too heavy for such a small screen!

just switched to this piece from cubot kingkong mini, because of Gorilla glass screen. The hardware design is solid. Limitations are large thickness and small screen-to-body ratio. Some bloatware looked very suspecious (f.e. StepCount app) and had to could be uninstalled via rooting only ($ pm uninstall -k --user 0 cn.bluemobi.dylan.step)

I have owned my N6000 for just under 2 months. I like the size, etc. The little speaker that you use to hear the caller has developed a vibration or buzz. Notifications through that speaker are also messed up (they are not clear). Blackview's support has not really been helpful, they offered to send a part and a manual - not really interested in operating on my 2 month old phone. I liked it when it worked. I would not buy again.

There is a specific program that suspends kills background apps, made by mediatek. If you freeze it with power of rooting your problem shall be solved. I did it that way.

Jake, 16 Nov 2023I have owned this phone for just over a month now. This is ... more(sorry for my bad english) i Think you´re right. On my new Phone with snapdragon no push notifications have ever been forgotten, like for example the Announcement of receiving a letter, which inherent app i started weeks ago.
On my old devices with other CPU, notifications came up, when i started the app. Useless.

I have owned this phone for just over a month now. This is the perfect size for my pocket. I got tired of expensive, oversized, fragile phones so decided to try a rugged phone. It is a little hard to read text sometimes and I'm much slower typing on it's tiny keyboard but I can deal with that. What I can't deal with is the phone shuts down background apps after awhile and therefore push notifications sent by apps that monitor cameras, doorbells, garage doors, etc fail to be delivered, or come in long after the event has occurred.. Email and calendar event notifications are also affected. This is the 2nd phone I've owned with a MediaTek chip in it and both had that exact same problem. Apparently Mediatek chips aren't efficient enough on their such that they require the use throttling software to manage battery usage. It works by shutting apps down that use "excessive" battery. The phone has a Battery Manager in settings where you can adjust each app's battery usage to one of 3 states: Restricted, Optimized, or Unrestricted. Nice, but it doesn't work and it doesn't matter what you set it to, it gets reset to whatever the Battery Manager determines it should be. Even turning off the Battery Manager entirely doesn't work. Microsoft Outlook complains often that I've restricted background operation, just to learn the setting has been changed in the phone's Battery Manager.
This problem makes push notifications unreliable. So if you need your calendar reminders to actually work this may not be the phone for you. I've been in touch with Blackview and they are stumped. They've offered a full refund if I return the device or $50 if I want to keep it. I believe the problem lies with MediaTek's "Battery Manager" which behaves a lot like their prior controversial "Duraspeed" software which was on the 1st rugged phone I owned and likewise had the same problems.
I don't know whether to return it, wait on a fix, or learn to deal without push notifications. I like the phone size, speed, capacity, comfort so much that I want to keep it. There's nothing else on the market like it. I wish it had a Qualcomm chip in it.

I've had this phone since Early August
I got fed up with handling large phones and wanted a smaller screen
I love the phone but, the sound is appalling on video recordings
Has anyone else had this experience ?
I've made Blackview aware and sent them sample recordings but they deny anything is wrong

Tjis Phoenix is perfekt if you just want to use it for the nessesary thinks. Everything workshop fine, including banking and payment and the display is big enought to read artikels, watch tv and more - but this is not comfortable.
So if you want to have à smal phone with good batterylife and do not like to carry a bigger than nessesary device it is a good choice. But if you do want to use your phone as ”only device in your onlinelive” it is no good choise.
I like that it is small, compact and robust because i do use a iPad when i am att home.

I'm gonna buy it right away! People on the internet have been saying how it's hard to switch to dumb phones, cause you can't stream music and podcasts, which truly sucks. They've been saying how it would be nice if they would make smartphones with smaller screens, like they were in the beginning, over ten years ago. Well this is the phone - the smallest smartphone display on the market, yet so powerful with the latest technologies. The small screen's going to deter you from overusing the phone, cause let's face it - the smartphones are addictive and we use them for mindless scrolling more than anything. It's tech specs are very similar to Honor 90 Lite, which is a more expensive phone. Great for hikes, mountaneering, everything outdoors, due to resistance to rain, mud, falling down etc.
