Yea it's pretty slow by 2023 standard, having a low-clocked CPU with weak cores.
However, it's also ultra cheap (as low as $52), and has HD screen and 64GB of storage. Most alternatives in this price range have even worse hardware.
Installed Passmark Performance Test app and ran it twice. The best results were:
System: 1085
CPU: 806
Memory: 4183
Disc: 12889
2D: 4607
3D: 6487
