AnonD-572671, 15 Aug 2016I had that problem too a while ago until i realized that my... moreHi there, when I said that I tried everything I was referring to clear cache, clear data, adding SD card, uninstalling and reinstalling apps, gmail account log out and log in, factory reset, disabling restrict data background, disabling battery optimization.
Nothing worked, gmail doesn't receive notifications, whatsapp receive notifications for a short period of time and then stops receiving until I manually open it. Another thing, whatsapp doesn't start automatically when I turn on the phone.

AnonD-572671, 15 Aug 2016I had that problem too a while ago until i realized that my... moreWell said bro, just to warn for those that use Battery Saver, 80% of apps that runs while the phone is off like Whatsapp or Gmail, if you want to receive the notifications, DISABLE IT! I had a Moto E (1st gen.) and when i enabled it, i couldn't receive any Whatsapp notifications... btw, this BLU Advance 4.0 L2 is a great phone for the price, the only downside is the RAM, i don't take any photos anyway :P

I have this phone too and i don't have any problems with whatsapp, i was having problem with Google Apps but it's fixed... really don't know what are you guys doing.

Hello !
I think there is no solution yet.
I gave up ! I can't fix it by myself.
BLU should pay more attention to this problem.
One good alternative is the Alcatel Pixi 4 4"
It works very fine and has 1 Mb ram.

I bought this phone and I'm having the same problems as you.. Gmail and Whatsapp are not receiving messages automatically. I have to manually open and check to receive the messages which makes the phone useless for me. I already wrote to Blu service explaining the problem but no answer from them, that´s really disappointing.
I tried EVERY solution I found to similar problems but nothing worked.
If I find a solution I will post it here, please do the same. But I think that there is no solution from the user side, we need a new custom build update probably.

I can't get WhatsApp to work and something's it restart my it self when one thing is working the other is not please is there someone who know how to solve it

I have thus phone.
It is good for the price, but, I just can not get gmail and WhatsApp working on this phone.
Even after the firmware update.
My version is BLU_A303L_V12_GENERIC 16-05-2016 14:02

This is perhaps the cheapest unlocked phone running marshmallow 6.0. The phone gets a OTA update and fixes the google play problem some people are having. Most affordable phone to try out android 6.0.
