I will keep my comment short - I am just darned angry and fed up with the stupid device I have. I have a BLU Studio 5ce and, like all the others, it randomly freezes and shuts down several times daily. The "fix" I usually apply is to reboot or pull the back off, remove the battery and replace it. I am sick and tired of the blasted instrument. The only reason I haven't smashed it with a hammer already ( I have had to restrain myself from simply smashing it on the floor ..honest) is because I got it as a present from someone dear to me who meant well. BLU should shut down like their blasted phones.

But today my normal trick holding the volume and power at the same time just didn't work, So I tried what you do 'Holding it in for 20-30 seconds, And I have to say your a life saver!

I bought this phone from a dealer less than a week ago. Went into a brick and mortar STORE to buy this. It STILL does not work. Brand new, never used, still in the shrink wrap and it doesn't work. You can't get much worse than that. My Nokia brick that I bought third hand at the THRIFT STORE for $6 STILL WORKS.
The only good thing I can say about it is the customer support was very helpful when I called. Other than that, this phone is pretty much useless. After FOUR HOURS at the dealer, I could finally get photos in texts. I thought this was supposed to be a "good" phone?
What it does - randomly shuts down whenever it feels like it. No rhyme or reason. I went into the settings and deleted all of the "auto on/off" profiles thinking that might help. Nope. It just continues to shut off on a whim.
It won't allow you to hang up the phone. You get done making a call and normally the phone will light up so you can hang up or use the keypad - not this one. You have to hope the other person hangs up because YOU won't be able to. So forget hanging up on someone in frustration. You can't. And FORGET using the keypad to put in an account number or something - the keypad won't light up when you take the phone away from your face so you just have to scream at it and hope the creepy robot on the other end is listening. So dumb. This phone can't even do the simplest tasks.
If you want to turn it on or wake it up, the "brilliant minds" have designed this dumb thing so you also end up cranking up the volume as well. Or inadvertently taking a screen shot/resetting the thing when all you want to do is turn it on. The volume control and the on/off button are EXACTLY opposite each other so if you're holding the phone and touching one button, you end up touching the other. Dumb. Over-engineered.
Speaking of "over-engineered", forget about taking the back cover off without a screwdriver or a crowbar. To keep the "line" of the thing, they've made it so you can't get it open to remove the batter, insert the SIM card OR the SD card. Yeah. Talk about stupid - they've made the phone so that you CAN'T insert the SD card without first REMOVING THE BATTERY. Wow. Who ever thought of that needs to be out of a job. Not cool.
So if you want something that looks great and takes a great photo, this is it. If you want a PHONE that WORKS - you know, to text, talk and get email - you probably should get something else because this one doesn't do CRAP.

Hi my blue life play , I'm trying to connect my WiFi but it keeps blinking on an off is they a solution to this problem because without it I can't do nothing

I have a blu life play mini and one moment it comes up with blue lines next minuet I comes up with black lines moving up and down the screen next minuet it comes on and sticks up at the start up screen next minuet it doesn't comes on and other minuet I works for a few minuet.Can anyone help me with this problem and tell me what should I do

And I also tried to download the periscope app & says the same thing. Not compatable. Sucks cuz I really like this phone(blue life XL)

when checking my call log it comes up blank it has also been happening when i go into contacts ,if i do not know the number by heart i cant call it ,whats app contacts have pics up i cant see . only had the phone for a month .

Ive only had this blu phone for 9 months and ever since the 6th month has giving me nothing but trouble i hate these products and this company should be shut down do to their horrible phones. All i can see is that these people just wanted our money
