Feb 2013 Phone released
Aug 3/2013 I purchased a new Blu Quattro 4.5 D440 Black under 2 year contract
Aug 3/2015 contract ended.
Sept 30/2015 Battery will not charge up, Service provider says "BLU" does not make that battery anymore, I have to buy another phone!
Something wrong with this picture, basically phones are 2 year disposables?

If you can install a custom ROM on your Blu Quattro 4.5, MIUI has one that runs Android 4.4.2, someone has posted a link at blu products development team, Quattro 4.5 ROMs at google+

i bought one and after a week my headphones wouldnt work in the headphone jack i like the phones picture capabilities but for 250 dollers i expected my phone to work without incident

I liked everything except the GPS is a joke. Then I learned about Glonass... So I returned this, paying a restock fee and bought a Huawei Honor 2. I ended up with a much better phone and the GPS connects in a few seconds. I use Net10 and you just order a bring your own phone (AT&T or T-Mobile) Sim Card for 5 bucks. Then you get unlimited service for 45/month.

I returned it because the phone has a really hard time getting a GPS position. Lessons learned - look for Glonass GPS and you get twice the number of satellites. I really liked this phone but this GPS issue was a deal breaker.
