I really like Blu (as a company,) and this phone. Their starting jingle isn't as annoying as iPhone or Samsung, and I like their slogan but there are quite a few inconveniences with this certain phone.
The first being the camera; it's not great, not at all and the focus does not work from 2m. (I tried and failed to take good pics of flowers today.) Everything also comes out rather pixelated, both on phone and when uploaded to my pc/photo sites and it does not function well in low light. The video's always sharp and in high quality so I don't understand why images don't work just as well. The flash/light is pretty week as well and pales in comparison to my mothers Samsung.
I also find the screen to be a little frustrating. It's like a privacy screen but in reverse. Looking at it head on kind of darkens the image but tilting it to the left brightens it. I'd rather my screen be crystal clear to me and dark to everyone else. However, this phone can run quite a few apps at once and doesn't slow down like Samsung's OS seems to. It's screen is also very responsive and great for gaming, which is what I use it for. You will need to buy a microSD card for more space but it's worth it.
Sadly, it can't seem to take much of a tumble without having issues. I kind of tossed mine onto my bed in a huff and during a following phone conversation, the screen would not turn on no matter what I did but it was fine immediately after. There also seems to be all too few accessories for this phone, making it hard to personalize.
TL:DR; This would be great for any gamer in the family (given you also buy a micro-sd,) but the selfie obsessed will be disappointed with its camera. Good for young teens and up but sadly average at about 6/10.

For all those who can't access the 3g service on their phone, I recommend you set the service to your first sim card you can't have 3g running on both sim cards, if the problem doesn't work then maybe you're on a different bandwidth however you can check by downloading mtk engineering tools on google play store and select the corresponding 3g band for your device, make sure you know what you're doing I'm not responsible if you brick your device..

My Blu studio g srceen are is doing the gost tuch problem i have this phone just about for 4 months i tell to my technisian to change my sreen but i will need to buy one in ebay so i do it one month later i receve my screen that cost me 25$ canadian dollars and i look my scrre i see noting so i give to my technisian he change my scrren but the chinese ho send me the screec broke it scrach every were so now i will buy the blu energy x lte but i hope im not the only persone ho have this problem -_- thank did someone buy the BLU energy x lte ???

This phone will not get the lollipop update due to low RAM, it only has 512mb of RAM blu promised an update but still no sign of one I'm currently using a blu studio g.
