I wanted some technical info for a ongoing problem and the first response was that my unit was out of warranty and was not on a trade in program. I had not even mentioned warranty, and they did not even give a suggestion or offer to put me in contact with a service engineer. Not sure if any company cares anymore. I am also concerned that the OEM battery that came with the unit is as listed in your description, however when I wanted to buy a new one the replacement available is now only 1550 mAh and I had to get it from an after market distributor.

I am actually a customer service representative, I often call t-mo tech support since our company rents their towers and on the map tool it shows phones are going to get 4G LTE signal but when we verify the signal strength from them, it's only up to EDGE or 2G service.

All of you spec sites need to get your acts together. I'm tired of getting conflicting specs. For instance this site says the phone doesn't have Java, while most other sites say it does. I surely can't tell by looking at the phone. However, I use a site that requires Java and the phone works fine.

And you are making the same mistake everybody makes - 1700/2100, etc are not bands, they are frequencies which everybody uses. Bands 4/17, etc are exclusive and are the most important. T-Mobile's APN might help you in that respect. However, the LTE bands on this phone are for AT&T.

Anyway your version of Android has nothing to do with which frequencies you receive. Those are built into the phone. The bands are exclusive to each Carrier and those are what is important. If you aren't receiving T-Mobile properly you probably have not programed your phone with their APN.

Great phone, but it appears that 1700/2100 HSPA doesn't work...T-Mobile coverage in this band is listed to Edge in my experience.

The basic problem with this phone is that it needs an upgrade to at least KitKat to fully use the LTE and despite promises when the phone came out, the phone has yet to be upgrade. Yes, you read that right, as other makers (including Motorola) upgrade their phones to Lollipop, Blu has failed to upgrade this phone--a phone that came out in November-to KitKat, despite promises to do so.

Meanwhile the phone sounds audio alerts every time it gets or loses and LTE signal and the alerts can't be turned off.

I own this phone. I don't recommend you buy it.Nor, given Blu's lack of support for its phone do I recommend buying Blu phones.

The phone is quite sturdy, simple but responds well to common applications. Suddenly gaming is something not so convenient, but for everyday use, communication, social networking, email and other management functions is a good option. I would recommend it and but that is a midrange computer performance LTE networks and fluently
