the most useless phone i have ever come in to contact with. what a slow phone? not even good enough to be given to my 100 years old grandmother

PER BLU CUSTOMER SUPPORT 03/06/17: "The Studio X8 HD will only work on 2G networks." My purchase would not connect to AT&T. After several unsuccessful attempts at fixes per BLU's instruction, finally today's rep gave me the answer, AT&T discontinued 2G service on their network. This is probably at the bottom of all the complaints about the phone's slow operation.

Can use other apps like hangout, gmail etc without connecting to wifi. Why?

i don´t recomend it , is very slow, if you can get another, do it, im regreat to by this phone

This phone is beyond amazing, and what makes it so amazing? The fact that for only 50 bucks, you get an incredibly well made phone. The HD is no misleading advertising, the screen looks beautiful and the colors display beautifully as well. The phone and apps run very smoothly, though there are apps this phone will simply not run, such as Angry Birds 2 and Orbit, and some such as Brain Dots, will run with a lot of lag, but the vast majority run fine. The battery lasts A LOT, and it does not overheat whatsoever, I've played all sorts of apps for one hour straight and the tempeture remains the same. If there's something I don't like (and it is not an actual problem) is that when you set the brightness to the lowest, it's still too bright, and this is kind of annoying when you're in your bed in the dark and want to use it. The same with the volume, when it's at the lowest it's still too high. But overall is an amazing phone, when you have a phone like this it makes you realize that you don't need to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to get an excellent phone. 5/5

The internet setting is so not cool. My Alcatel was faster. The edge setting need to go what about HSDPA my whatsapp call are crappy
