achirinos, 01 Oct 2014Well built phone, nice WindowsPhone experience, excellent p... moreTry above fix though your version sounds like v1. BLU WIN Jr came out with version 2 that included 1700 band as well. Phone manufactured after Nov2014 are V2. Make sure you completely updated firmware and applications then try "flipping the SIMS" then back again. Can't say for sure if my fix will work on version 1 of the phone; but it worth a try.

Yes I can give you hand on this phone - maybe. This works on the Nov2014 version of phone - its version 2. First connect to Wifi at home or elsewhere download all updates - the phone has an update plus all applications at the store. Shut down phone; then remove battery for about about minute or more. Before putting battery back in "flip the SIMs" That is change SIM slots on your phone; then place battery back in. Make sure you know which SIM has 4G connection you want - you want make sure 4G is working in both SIM slots. Once you determine 4G is working with one. Then power down phone and remove battery again. Flip the SIMs again. Make sure 4G works on other SIM. You can keep that SIM slot assignment this time. When you get 4G this time you corrected problem. Just to clarify one of my SIMS with one of my carriers has no data plan - LifeWireless (PURE Gsm) the other does and that is with Brightspot Target on the T-Mobile backbone. I just got phone about a week or so before your post - had same exact problem which is fixed.

Great value for the money. Had a little difficulty getting cellular coverage with SpeakOut Wireless the non-commitment provider. I had downloaded some pics and what-not before installing the sim card and it couldn't find the network. I restarted the phone, the last option on the setting menu and after a short reboot, cellular coverage and joy. Yeah BLU.

I was very Impressed with the BLU Win Jr. For less than $90, it gives you a strong smartphone experience. I use it on the Canadian Rogers network and it gets 3G and HSPA+ with Rogers. You have to edit the APN settings - Settings - cellular+sim - SIM 1 Settings - edit internet apn and set APN to ltemobile.apn . The phone and screen are responsive. You will see some slow down while installing apps and transferring files from your computer but this is to be expected in this level of phone. I found that the phone became increasingly responsive as I went through the update cycle. Eventually I signed up for the Windows Developer Preview so that I could get the latest version of the OS. At that point the Blu Win Jr was very responsive and the addition of a 32 Gig SD card allows for the installation of more programs than you will ever be able to use. The only negatives so far are that the Maps app is supposed to be able to store downloaded maps to the SD card but on my phone, they can only be stored on internal storage which is limited at 4 Gig. The swapping of apps from RAM to the SD is seamless and takes little time. I quite like the Windows 8.1 interface which I find is efficient for finding the key apps that you want to get to. The notification center is well designed and keeps you informed with the information that you want and can choose. Unless you need LTE, NFC or a high end camera, the Blu Win Jr gives you a smartphone experience comparable to smartphones costing two to three times as much.
The APN settings for Rogers for MMS or multimedia text can be found at:

The general APN setting for Data access for Rogers are at:

The ltemobile.apn example works best.

aasmi, 04 Jan 2015Everythink work perfectly à part 3G, it's allways co... moreWait for an update or double check if it supports 1700/2100 MHz, that's when you know it can support 4G. Or check to see if you connected to the internet correctly, sometimes with blu you have to make the MMS and internet connection yourself. I think its called APN, here is a link to something which could hopefully help.

This phone was not made by windows or microsoft. It is from an up and coming company that produces cheap phones and some pretty decent ones ...as all the companies do.This one just happens to work really well and best thing about it is it's not powered by the Just Do Evil Google Os known as Android.

The W410U would be compatible with Windmobile in Canada. If it doesn't work for you then you simply didn't get the right model.
