vivo Y91i launched in India with 6.22" display and 4,030 mAh battery

If for some reason the vivo Y91 seemed expensive, the newly released Y91i offers mostly the same specs but at a slightly lower price.

The naming is a bit of a mess though - the Indian Y91i is actually the phone known as the Y91C in Pakistan. Yet this new Y91i is different from the vivo Y91i sold in markets such as Malaysia and Thailand.

The phone features the same 6.22" HD+ display with a waterdrop notch like the Y91. Inside is the 12nm Helio P22 with 2GB of RAM. The base model comes with just 16GB of storage, but thankfully there's a microSD card slot for expansion.

The vivo Y91i lacks a fingerprint sensor so you will have to resort to the 8 MP front camera and its facial recognition features if you want to go the biometric security way. On the back is a single 13MP f/2.2 shooter.

The phone will run on vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.5 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. Dual SIM slots are present and the device is powered by a solid 4,030 mAh battery, which can be topped up via the dated microUSB.

Pricing starts at INR 7,990 ($115) for the 16GB model while the 32 GB will set you back INR 8,490 ($121). The phone is available in Fusion Black, Sunset Red and Ocean Blue colors starting today.

I always said this, Oppo A3s is a better buy. Seriously. If anyone thinking of this Vivo please check out that Oppo A3s first. Similar everything and cheaper since its on the market for a while now. Yes, its has android Pie.

The mentioned price of VIVO is also starting. I(in)M(my)H(humble)O(opinion) VIVO is better and no doubt cheaper.

the battery and large display seems nice! P22 is a good chipset for such a mid range phone
