Anyone having problems of unlocking the phone as the display is blank when the power button is pressed to unlock please disable the auto brightness feature and keep the brightness to manual. This is a permanent bug with this phone so its better to avoid the auto brightness feature. To disable please go to setting-display-brightness and uncheck the auto brightness box.
Guys the phone flash is a bit dull but acceptable for this price range. The led flash is in complete auto mode so if you manually turn on the flash while taking photos it automatically adjusts the intensity of flash according to lighting conditions.
Secondly anyone using the proximity sensor for unlocking please download free app called Tap Tap which works fine for me.

Been using this mobile for around 6-7 months now and I had to get the OS reloaded twice as it was corrupted and the service center people could not provide a proper cause as to what is leading to this. I have bare min of apps/games loaded on the device and use the phone for light browsing mostly.
Also since a month after my purchase the power/unlock button started giving problems as mentioned by one user. I have to press it numerous times just to unlock the phone or maybe have to restart the phone by taking out battery not sure what is causing this too. Any pointers anyone?

Don't buy this phone. I'm using this phone for nearly 4 months and I'm facing these problems
1)MAJOR PROBLEM: The display ON/OFF (i.e Power) button does not works properly, you cannot open display when needed(sometimes wait for minutes to unlock display).
So, I have installed proximity screen lock app(but that too not works properly).
2)The LED is useless, its not bright enough to take pictures or as to use as torch.
3)Every time you restart your phone, the ringtone changes to default ringtones. Need to change every time again and again.

Go for it if you u r not a guy who goes only by brands and not by specs and performance. I have used it for around 6 days the performance is very good. No lags nothing. The benchmarks of this phone is very good. Everything is fine. The only concern is the resale value. But are u going to sell this beautiful phone? And about the after sales i think like micromax or atleast equivalent to it celkon managed to open service centers or alliances in almost many of the cities. In short If u donot bother about the brand name then go for it. Worth for every penny u spend. U ll definitely fall in love with this phone

but the best indian mobile at this range... v v good specs... i guess even 20,000 mobiles fail to offer 12mp camera. the specs are the same as micromax canvas. what makes it different is the camera... amazing 12mp camera..

Anil, 15 Feb 2014How to set our own ringtone?? from SD card 1. Store ringtone in the Ringtone folder in SD card.
2. Go to setting
3. Apps
4. Audio profiles
5. Next to General, click setting
6. Select Voice call ringtone
7. Along with default ringtones, you will also find the ringtone stored in the Ringtone folder in SD card (for both SIM1 and SIM2)
