celkon model A97 is the one of excellent phone in market,but the battery is too poor.

      Here are the basic steps for the noobs.

      TpSparkyroot.
      -------------
      Install the ADB driver for your phone. Once installed, open device manager, device manager should show the device as adb interface. Otherwise TpSparkyroot cannot find the device and will show device not find.

      Here is an illustrated way of how to flash/update the ROM on MTK6575 based devices.

            But I cant root my phone because it says 'device not found' while tryiing to root through Tpsparkyroot.

            Can you please tell me that you have A97 driver?

            After connecting the phone with my laptop, the new 3 nos. Of drives open. One is 'Mobile partner' and the Balance two are mobile internal and External Sd cards. Mobile partner drive has driver files (inf), but I cant install in my xp system and the installation is failing.


            While trying to root through Tpsparkyroot, it says 'device not found'. So I think, first I have to install the driver. I got the 'inf' files from your link. But how to install that in my Xp system (because my installation failed) and please guide me the steps to root.

            Please support this thread for Rooting, clockworkmod recovery and Custom Roms.

            Also, you had mentioned that CWM (clockworkmod) and Custom firmware in your link, (which for Haipai i9220). Have you installed this CWM and custom Rom?

                  Hi dear FRIENDS
                  I brought this beautiful set on 06 Jul 12 and till date i am using the phone very roughly for testing the bench mark given by other friends.
                  POSITIVES :
                  Very nice look
                  display clarity and pixel ratio is very nice
                  Ram is 473MB
                  Internal Memory consists of two types
                  1 is 790 MB and other is 2GB and it is also having an external slot for micro SD card.
                  Processor is 1GHz with GPU also and is very fast.
                  Touch controls are awesome and beautiful sound with inbuilt speaker and with other headphones (Not original)
                  Internet on 3G tested and it was very fast. Downloaded flash player 11.1 and is working fine.
                  Games downloaded and are running smoothly.
                  Battery 1500 mAH capacity is some what less because it was exhausted in 01 day. But if we watch movies it goes for 5 Hrs and music for > 20 Hrs non-stop(with head phones).
                  Camera shows 5 MP but the quality comes out of 3.2MP only and has no flash (main dis advantage)
                  But both cameras are OK not bad i will give 3.5 Stars out of 5 for camera.
                  And above all i will give 4.5 out of 5 stars for the whole mobile because of the features and price.
                  Overall a nice and sure buy phone
                  I have taken this mobile after reading reviews here only. Thanks for the friends who supported me to buy this phone by writing reviews here. Thanks a lot to all friends

                              Rooting means,we can do any change to the system of phone.The benefits are , we can download the special applications from android market, which require root permission, Such as 'beats audio', 'titanium backup', 'LCD density change' etc.
                              But rooting avoids warranty, but if we do safely, then no problem will occur. If you want to unroot also it is possible.

                                    It is an excellent phone for this price. I downloaded battery saver from android to save my battery backup and it works great. I do not understand what is "ROOTING". Can anybody elaborate what is rooting the phone and what are the benefits of rooting a phone ?
