Anonymous, 20 Nov 2012i am having trouble with my data connection.it shows that m... moreya...I too faced this problem ....why this problem persists..I don'tknow ...but solution is restore factory settings...this will erase all your internal storage...then phone is set up again...then sign in with ur gmail accounts to acess playstore...n then..u.can nicely enjoy....frnds I want to know that,is this problem only with reliance or with all other sims too?

Hi frnds.. recently I bought this. Before buying I had an opinion like "celkon?its a very nasty n cheap company" but aftr seeing a97i at my frnd, I gt imprssd n bought it.
It z really gud. Evry aspect is excllnt nd it is only 8000rs with gr8 specifications..

There are various softwares which are available to root your phone like superoneclick, unlockroot etc. These have to be installed on the PC. However rooting the phone will void the company warranty, and in some cases the phone may also get 'bricked'. Which means your phone will become useless due to corruption of data. So go for a root only if necessary, and if you are willing to take a risk. There is no guarantee that a particular phone will be rooted successfully all the time for everyone. Which means, for example, that if you own a Celkon A97i, and you have been able to root it successfully, it does not mean that another person with the same phone will be able to root it successfully as well. If something goes wrong, he/she may end up bricking the phone. I hope this helps.

I have purchased this phone 03 days ago. It has no issues with speed, and there is no lag. The screen clarity is fantastic and the phone has a high dpi (233 I believe). Due to this small texts are also crystal clear and messages are easy to read. There is no blurring of texts. The camera is very good and the photos in daylight and in good artificial light are very crisp.
Both Wi-fi and Bluetooth work well. The build quality of the phone is also good enough. Battery is also good, lasts quite long. Duration of the battery will depend on the usage, of course.
One flaw which may be is due to some inbuilt restriction - 3rd party keyboards like Swype Beta and Swiftkey cannot be installed permanently - which is rather shocking. Once the phone is rebooted / restarted the system switches back to the stock android keyboard. This is frustrating. I don't know if other users have a similar experience, or if this is a problem in my phone alone.
Overall a very good phone. Worth the price.

hai folks....this mobile is waste of money... ram is very slow......i rooted my phone using z4root.though i deleted useless system apps,it still lags....not able to play hd games....the 8mp cam pics are worse then 5mp camera pics....those who r thinking that they can make their phone better by rooting can just root their device and see if it is better after rooting.....the user king is saying lies...i sold this crap for rs7000 for a noob person....those who r using this crap are waste fellows.... buy only micromax mobiles....bye bye waste owners of this crappy piece

king, 14 Nov 2012hai guys....it is the best mobile in its price range.. .to ... morei think u successfully rooted ur phone then u tell me telugu fonts are working or not by installing a unicode .tft file using fontinstaller then by going throug any telugwebsite most importantly the fonts are clear or mixing with one another . hope u do it for me
