CMF Phone 2 Pro in for review
This just in - the CMF Phone 2 Pro has arrived at HQ and joining our review queue!
Nothing's CMF sub-brand's first Pro phone starts at €250/£220/₹19,000 for the 8/128GB model, and you can have double the storage for €280/£250/₹21,000. The 8/256GB variant will also be available in the US for $280 via the Beta Program.
Ours is the Light Green color, though we'd argue it's more of a light blue, and it ships with a USB-C cable, a transparent case, and a SIM eject tool.
The phone is light for its size, it's something you'll notice right away. It's likely to do with the materials used - the back panel and frame are plastic, but feel sturdy and well put together. The phone is also IP54 dust-tight and water-resistant.
Upfront is a great 6.77-inch 10-bit AMOLED with HDR10+ support, a 1080p panel, 3,000 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz peak refresh rate. There's Panda Glass on top for protection.
Ticking inside the CMF Phone 2 Pro is the 4nm Dimensity 7300 Pro, mated to 8GB of RAM. Expect a smooth experience with Nothing's visually striking take on Android (you can choose a Classic Android skin during setup too).
Nothing has enhanced the usability with the Essential key. It sits just below the power button on the right, but has a different, rounder shape. A double press from any state will take you to the Essential Space - an AI-powered hub for notes.
A press and hold will launch an Essential voice memo, which is then saved in the Essential space. You can't change the Essential key's functionality, though.
Finally, the CMF Phone 2 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. Okay, we're off to do some reviewing now, stay tuned!
